Looks Sharp. Mind telling me how you achieved that skin tone?

It's been a few months but from what I can remember, I've mixed two paints : skin-tone + tan from Revell Acrylics.

That's one badass Conan in the 4" scale!

Thanks, NeCro!

Agree with KoolMisfit, your custom is very comic accurate.

Thanks! The comic-book-look was totally what I was aiming.

That Conan is just great- I've seen the same basic recipie used for Ka Zar (which works nicely too!) but this is really striking.
One minor suggestionL give him a light misting of Dullcoat and the custom will look much cooler without that plastic shine.
Really, it's worth useing on non-custom figures too- really improves the overall look.

Thanks! I'll grab some dullcoat and try it...

Love this Conan custom. Dig the use of champagne capsule to create the shield.

Thanks! Since I've begun customizing, I always have a second thought before throwing small stuff because I'm wondering if it could be any use in a custom... Most of the time, though, the stuff I keep lies in a small box with no real use found... So, I'm quite happy this capsule worked as an antic shield!

I really like this. it's simple, it works, looks like it could be on the shelf at the store!

Thanks for the nice words!
