Lara Croft (100th Submission) Custom Action Figure

Custom #:58193
Name:Lara Croft (100th Submission)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Tomb Raider
Date Added:February 8, 2014
Base Figure:WWE Mickie James
Height:6.50 inches
This is my 100th submission, it isn't really my 100th custom because a good number of my submissions were updates and overhauls and also because I refuse to count that Justin Bieber one (don't go looking for it, but you probably will now that I've mentioned it. I wonder if I'm able to delete submissions here at all). So, cause for some celebration! Lara Croft is my favourite video game character even though I'm not much of a gamer and my friend christinacxxx is the realm's resident Tomb Raider custom expert and she's been very helpful and encouraging along my customizing journey. This take on Lara was very much inspired by Ole Jade Jaw's Lara made using the same base, a Mickie James WWE Diva. The hands were swapped for that from a Resident Evil Sheva Alomar. The head was from a Jonah Hex Lilah figure, with the hair removed and new hair sculpted. The braid was sculpted using intertwining twisty wire. The holsters were from an old Playmates Lara Croft action figure; so were the pistols. The assault rifle was from a Hasbro ML Mystique. Painted the whole thing up. Thanks for looking and here's to a 100 more submissions!

Really nice work. Its hard preparing wip pics while your trying to plan and make a custom. Great execution and sounds like expensive parts
JeddTheJedi - Saturday, February 8, 2014
Thanks, the parts weren't that expensive though. Picked up the Mickie James figure from the bargain bin at a convention and bought Lilah and Sheva loose a good while back.

Congratulations on 100 and what a beautiful 100th it is! This Lara looks tough and attractive. I also like your picture of her back as she's looking at the scenery outside, nice landscape you chose.
