Another Classic TF to join the Minibots lineup its Beachcomber.

I used a hardtop form Cybertron and gave him a completely new paint job and a newly sculpted head. Started with a complete base coat of black then drybrushed an the entire body with silver and Ultra Marine blue.

This yet another that's been on my TO DO list forever.
Yours looks great, but I'm not sure I dig the "used" look that the drybrushing gives.
I think I'd paint mine in solids.
But then, that's why it is called customizing!!!

My Beachcomber didn't feel quite complete so I went back and gave him interchangable hands. The golden hand appeared in an episode of the animated G1 show called the Golden Lagoon.

Nah no weaons for Beachcomber even though it crossed my mind. I wanted to keep him as a pacifist Geologist rather than a gun toting warrior.
