So I've been a huge fan of the site for a while and everyones fantastic customs and wanted to give it a go and while watching my nephew play with Doc Ock and Cyclops I got an idea for a crossover/mashup (I absolutely love the ones I've seen on here)
So I started off with the Cyclops base repainted him after drilling holes for the tentacles added doc ocks trench coat and repainted (it's a spiderman 2 movie doc ock btw) had a broken shoulder piece from a rhino figure laying around which I repainted and added to his right shoulder, the spikes on his left side are from a mcfarlanes dragon just cut them off and repainted and even though it's hard to see there is a gun holster on his waist which I got from mcfarlanes billy the kid (will be improving my photo technique for future customs) This is my first ever custom!! unfortunately though my customs will be few and far between for a while as I don't have much fodder to work with (toys are super expensive here in Australia) have tried going to garage sales, budget shops, car boot sales the works but no one is getting rid of old figures i'll keep at it though and hopefully find the mother load so I can continue this very fun hobby

So any comments you have or suggestions are all welcome (keep in mind I know my painting needs a bit of work)

Original amalgamations and fusion characters are some of my favorite types of customs, and this one was a combination of hero and villain that was well done! Welcome to Figure Realm.

Welcome to the Realm brother!! ,I got to say that for your first he's Awesomely Cool man , really well done , love the cross of these characters , they fit nicely together , very original , and don't worry about parts , now you got the "eye" and anything is fair game in this world (even common items can be transform into whatever you want) , looking forward for future works and feel free to ask anyone for tips (plus the tutorials are great too) , last but not least talk to us too , (comments , critiques , jokes , suggestions) we all share here ,there no egos here , we are one big group of friends and colleagues , so again Welcome to the Family brother!!!

Thanks very much gotta say loving the positive feedback and yeah I know what you mean I'm starting to see potential pretty much everywhere I look so I'm gonna keep practising and keep my customs coming, I looked over the tutorials to make some wolverine claws for a simple wolverine I'm doing (with the Bulletstorm Grayson figure and I'm also doing a repaint for the BAF Iron Monger) but I've had the flu all week so haven't been working on those (finished Cyclops last week) thanks again and hopefully my next custom will be up soon

You could always try your hand at making molds and casting the limited figures you have to extend out your pieces....theres good money in it plus theres hundreds of youtube videos on how to do it...
