"Hmmmn….Dead you are. At one with the force you will become." Yoda muttered as he ricocheted off a nearby tree. Lightsaber drawn, he honed in on General Grees location. As he drew near Gree raised his arm in an attempt to apprehend his attacker. He failed. With a quick, precise, swipe of Yoda’s emerald green saber Gree’s arm lay severed on the earth below.
Landing with graceful ease a couple of feet in front, Yoda turned to see if his attack had discouraged the creature’s assault. It had not. Gree let out a low muffled gurgling noise and continued to stumble forward in his direction. Disappointment swept over Yoda’s face as he assumed a fighting stance once again. "Time it is for you to die."
Kneeling down where he stood, he closed his eyes and began to focus his willpower. A small dust-filled whirlwind began to form around him. Weak at first, but getting stronger the more he concentrated. He could hear the decaying, worm-riddled creature approached, but he continued to remain motionless. As Gree grew close, Yoda’s eyes shot open and he launched himself high into the air. Reaching his peak altitude, he began to plummet in a spinning motion toward Gree. The familiar hizzz-pop of his lightsaber could be heard as he descended.
Landing square in the center of Gree’s chest, Yoda thrust his saber deep into his upper torso with deadly force. Unable to keep his balance Gree fell back from the impact of the blow. With Yoda’s blade still in place, Gree landed hard against the terrain below. Yoda watched as the creatures vain, sporadic thrashings dwindled down to unmovable silence. Deactivating his lightsaber and returning it to his belt, Yoda gazed at the creature. It’s once moving mouth lay open as satisfied worms began to crawl out. Bowing his head and with a sigh he muttered, "Rest is peace you will, monster."
