The Phalanx convenant was one of the first major X events I ever had in comic form after getting into X-Men from the cartoons and their style and freakiness have left me impressed to this day. Despite the heavy amount of yellow, they're still sinister, cold and calculating. I sculpted the arm directly to the cannon to make it look as one flawless morphed piece aall the while making sure I kept the light up feature. I used a SOTA Gen head for the main noggin and a FF4 Movie doom mask for another head with a ML Select Lady Death mask for the face in the torso. I base sprayed white, covered in golden yellow and then did the black techno-organic skin with a sharpie and 2 hours spare time watching Shameless :) Finally I drilled into the back of the Gen head (and ruined the first in the process) to make the eyes as this as possible from behind allowing his eyes to glow with the cannon.
