those paints are the bee's knees. they are most excellent and I recomend those highly!!! I use those a lot. and get a nice primer. I use an acrylic white, but you might wanna use just an actual primer.

my honest suggestion would be to find a hobby store that sells acrylics, or testors if you can find em there. the ones that are for crafts at walmart are too thin and would probably need like a hundred coats to just show up. find a local hobby store and explain what your trying to do and they should help you. if not, kick the store owner in the shin for me!

hes right. you should get some testors acrylics at wal*mart or somewhere. theyre relatively cheap, and pretty easy to find.

what type of paints are ya using on these figures. when I was younger I tried to paint my action figures with acetone based paints and if I went to my box of toys right now, they would probably look just like this. anyways, what I'm trying to say is you should try and get your hands on some nice acrylics and try makin an easy character like iceman, or even scarlet spider if your set on spiderman. but other than that, keep given 'er and if you have either the money or the patience, try those acrylics with a Matte finish and your figs will look a billion times better.
