Here is a battle damaged Steel figure made up of both Superman and Steel figures. The head was shaved to remove the bolts and then sparyed over with PlastiDip spray rubber as well as the body. Then it was painted and then sliced to peel back the "steel" suit. the lower legs and belt were transplanted to the superman body then the lower arms of steel transplanted back on. The shoulder pad was re-attached and viola... Battle Damaged Steel.
NICE?

titter, nice one. Very cool figure though - I can see a lot of our fellow customisers trying this spray stuf out for battle damage and torn clothing

Didn't you hear? Steel is Superman's half-brother so he gets half his powers, being indestructable is one of them!

I love the work
But I've always wondered how can there be a blast damage that can penetrate and fully remove the Iron Plate of Steel's suit and not just rip through his flesh.
My bad Its my critique on battle damage on characters like steel and Iron man in the comics, but I think about it in a real world application and it would a way bit more graphic . Especially if its like the 60's and 70's way of comic drawing where the metal looks like gold spandex. It makes me think about how nasty it would really get.

They have spray-on plasti-dip!? That's awesome! The suit looks real!
