Anyone whos ever seen a Sci-Fi orignal movie knows how crappy they usually are. Once and a while, they have a decent one with good actors but most of the time they arent that great. Well, SS Doomtrooper wasn't that great but I liked the concept of the monster thing.
For those unfamiliar with the movie, it takes place during WWII. The whole plot revolves around a group of outcast soldiers sent to destroy a Nazi Lab thats mutating men into these huge Hulk like things that come out with great strength, a pretty nifty healing factor and the ability to absorb/eject electricity through their hands. Corny yes, but the monsters looked pretty sweet.
Anyhow, not too hard here, mostly a repaint with a little sculpting.
Head got a sculpted helmet onto it, painted flat black first then drybrushed with that nifty metallic color.
Body was painted a combo of blue and grey and the gloves and pants were done with flat black.
Again, not too hard but I think he's pretty cool.
Thanks to Hakweye for the Hulk base, thanks man!
The premise was right on for the movie, but died somewhere during production.
Looks good, the thing it had on its arm would have been good too.
