Dr.Henry"Hank" McCoy. What more can I say? Im just upset that not even Marvel Select had the courage to make a movie based action figure. Well here is an attempt at making BEAST.

I take my "Q" from once again ringomendoza who did his out of a wolfman, Blain3 who also made his out of a wolfman and finally I believe the originator was Xfan. You guys come up with good base figures and ideas for us all to use. That said....

head- Mezco the wolfman
forarms-wwe undertaker
hands-mezco wolfman
waist and thighs-ML colossus
lower shins-Marvel Select the wolverine
feet-mezco wolfman

This was a challange of a custom. First, making all the parts fit. Wolfmans face was an excellent but, he had the dog looking snout sticking out and his facial hair was all over the place. Task 1 was to sand down the snout, hair and nose. I then carved a new mouth. I used aves to sculpt a new nose fix the sideburn hair and eyebrows.
I then proceeded to attack the pants sculpting the lower pants and adding pant effect to the upper thighs as colossus was way to muscular. When I was happy enough to move on I began painting..I need much practice on blue skin tones. I repainted it 3 times before i was comfortable.
I used the first official image of beast as my model to follow as seen in the picture.

Well thanks for looking guys.

Hey thanks bro. I'm having trouble with lighting on my photography. This is the reason I haven't posted up magneto but as soon as I get it down I'll post it.

haha thank you. And magneto will be up in due time. He is completed. I am just working on my photography. Studying how to capture the most dramatic effects to capture the viewers interest with one glance.

Looks great and just like him. I haven't seen the film yet (no cinema where I live and I don't drive yet despite my attempts to) but am looking forward to it and avoiding spoilers. I'm not really big on Marvel movies but I do like the X-Men/Wolverine ones.
