Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Batman - Arkham Origins
Creator:czuga

Base Figure:Batman Arkham Origins Deathstroke
Height:6.75 inches
Completion Time:8.00 hours
My first custom. Inspired by the Grendel clans in War Child. I sculpted Green Stuff (probably the last time I use it, Apoxie Sculpt is way easier to work with) over Deathstroke's eye and filled in some of his helmet, then sanded it as smooth as possible. Painting revealed a few imperfections but in the end I came to think of them as scoring marks from battle. I did, however, tone down the crazy amount of battle marks DC had on him. Did a total repaint on the body. Took off the scabard on his back and ditched the accompanying sword. Highlighted the metallic parts with furniture polish to give it a sheen. For the fork I used the stick that came with Deathstroke and added sanded down bobby pins for the blades. Super glue and a little more Green Stuff to anchor them on. The cloth was a piece of an old black hoodie stiffeneed with a 50/50 water and Elmer's glue mixture. The paint for this was Citadel . I estimate actual time spent on this at around 8 hours give or take over several weks as I had time. Time spent staring at it in various stages of completion and obssessing about it...way too much.
Conceived of by myself with a lot of encouragement, guidance, and mentoring from Samhain.

Welcome to The Realm!!! Very cool idea and great work, he Looks awesome! I noticed in your description you were planning to give up "green stuff". I advise instead keeping both Apoxy Sculpt and Green Stuff in your customizing arsenal. Apoxy Sculpt is better for most sculpting and ease of use, but when you are sculpting something that might hold up better with a little "give", like Batmans "ears" or something similarly small and fragile that could snap off easily, or really anything where give is a plus, I find it's good to use the green stuff for those. Just my advice!
