this is Captain Barbell, another philippine comics legend Mars Ravelo creation... this is one of the first four figures I made... pardon my work as this is my first take on customizing... Captain Barbell is another Philippine pop culture icon. His alter-ego is the petite and clumsy Teteng, who was given a magical rusty barbell by a mysterious old man he helped. Everytime he lift the barbell, he just shout out loud the name Captain Barbell and he'll be transformed into the super strong hero... In the TV series though (where I copied the costume), they gave him a new (or better yet, ripped-off) background similar to that of Smallville's. I must say they should have just sticked to the original story. Its far more entertaining and have that "filipino feel/touch"...
