Captain America was made with a DC Direct Martian Manhunter. I dememeled off the attachments on his chest and resculpted it with Aves Fixit sculpt. sculpted his belt buckle, gloves and ears. I used different shades of blue, because he was too plain (hope it worked). the paints I used were Testers and Warhammer acrylic paints. The shield was made from a spare round part, I don't know from what toy but it looked like a shield. I sculpted it a bit and painted it. I was not sure when they said "toy series" if I put the right one (Marvel Select), I hope I did, because Captain America was made from a DC Direct figure, but I think it would still fit well with the Marvel Legends and Marvel Select figures. You CA is very accurate to the comic and is good a bright, something I felt always suited Captain America's costume. My only problem is that the shield is a little too bowl shaped.
