Dr Nightmare Custom Action Figure

After stripping the silver/green armor off a spare Boromir, I thought he'd make a great self-portrait-custom (a grossly exaggerated self-portrait, of course). Behold the rogue known as Dr Nightmare...

First I peeled and snipped off all the clunky armor Boromir had which left some small holes and indentations on his gloves and boots. I left the belt part of the armor on though to hold the sword-sheath. Instead of filling the holes in with sculpey, I filled in the boot-dents with some brown straps and covered the holes on this forearms with some nifty brown manacles Hercules gladly donated. Shield and sword were earned in a drinking contest with Gimli (Nightmare secretly drank colored water while Gimli drank himself silly). The dark cloak was a gift from Black Panther, knowing Nightmare would look much better wearing it that he ever would. One night, Nightmare encountered a Wraith hellbent on his demise. He quarreled and slayed the foul thing, sending it back from whence it came. It left it's hooded-robe, which Nightmare now wears at night to travel undisturbed. The fur around his shoulders once belonged to the fearsome SkullSplitter. Being an enemy Spawn could never defeat, he went to Nightmare for help. After a long and bitter battle, Nightmare managed to single-handedly end Skullplitter's reign of terror. As a reward, Spawn gave Nightmare one of his chains which grants him an unknown power he must discover on his own...
