The Shinobi of the ancient times are long gone. Their kind forced into hiding by the changing times and men. With their Clans disbanded, they became wanderers, rogues, and hermits. Honor and loyalty overrun by corporate greed, many lost faith in humanity and became trapped in their melancholy. Some seemingly disappeared entirely while others adapted to the curruption and found ways to exploit it in the only way they knew how, as hired guns. These modern ninja formed gangs to share their secrets, sharpen their skills, to maintain some semblance of the old ways, and so The Dark Shinobi arose...
Not too hard of a custom, the best kind ;) I used a Ninja Wolverine from the new X-men line for the main body with thighs and feet from a Stealth Wolverine. I'm not sure who's hands I used since they all look the same. The body was already red and black which was good because I was going to paint him that way anyway. I did still have to paint the black parts though because they looked pearly blue-black instead of flat black and I painted over some red lines on his chest and stomach armor. His arms are made of different parts of the two Wolverines'. The wrist-guards were stolen from Boromir and painted red, the armor on his thighs was from the same armor pile. The brown straps and red mask-trails were random bits from the spare parts box. The black sheath on his back is from a Ringwraith and the sword was Wolverine's, I just snipped off the other two blades on it. The spikes on his wrist-guards were cut out from one of the spare sword blades and glued on. To make his mask I had to shave off a lot of Wolverine's hair and then sculpted it entirely out of Sculpey because Spiderman heads aren't good enough, I wanted his face to show through. I glued on the red strip on his forehead before I put on the Sculpey and hardened it. It turned out perfect! I amaze myself. I am the greatest. Best of all, he has full articulation and I don't have to worry about paint peeling off at the joints. Ever.

Great work
Glad ye like it, Arez. Funny how little things make a big difference in customizing
Now if only I can scrounge up some body parts for a different Shinobi...
