Gabriel Custom Action Figure

I was asked to create this figure by Jimmy Portillo. He is Gabriel, a Vampire from the Graphic Novel of the same name, created by Jimmy. Gabriel stalks his victims on the border cities of El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico. The last picture is of Jimmy and the custom for comparison, Jimmy portrays Gabriel in the Graphic novel.
Gabriel was created by using a Resident Evil 4, Leon S. Kennedy figure as the base. First I removed his shoulder and hip holsters. The straps on his right leg for the hip holster were removed with a Dremel and that part of the leg was resculpted with Sculpey. I removed the long bangs and resculpted the hair with sculpey. I replaced the hands with some from the captain Archer figure of the Art Asylum Enterprise line. I created decals for Gabriel's signature Night of the Living Dead shirt with reference photos proided by Jimmy. The decals were touched up with paint. I used wire from a bread tie to make the nose ring.
