I can think of no better way to honor, Sean, the best boyfriend ever. This is the figure I made to look like him. The base figure is a Spiderman from the Christmas set with him and MJ. I pulled off the holiday trimmings and used thick black fabric paint to form the hair. The paint I used was actually 10 years old, so I don't know that the technique would work with new fabric paint. The body, shirt, pants, white detail paint is acrylic. The red shoes were done with an airbrush paint. My supplies were very limited when I made this(years ago) and I had to just draw his face on with a fine permanent marker. The trickiest part was the hair. Since it's paint I had to hold the figure at the angle I wanted it flow and keep turning it slowly as it dried to get an even distribution. I used toothpicks to do the detail work on the shoes. I didn't feel comfortable taking the figure apart to paint it, so it can't be posed; it was the only figure I had and I've never customized before. Sean is not as built as this, either, so really I should of done something about the bulky muscles, but like I said it's my first. I'm super proud of it and hope to do a better one of him when I get more experience.
