My first attempt at using scultping using Aves Fixit. An ML Mystique with all the extras trimmed off & holes filled in. I used flames from a movie Ghost Rider figure for the hair and sculpy on the forehead and chest. Painted with Citadel paints, shades of silver with -lots- of yellow ink.

Thanks so much for all the feedback & praise you guys. Don't think I can take credit for this recipe though - I'm sure I saw it here first but can't recall whose it was.
I'm getting a bit more adventurous with sculpy for my next custom - there won't be much of the original fig left...

Snufkin nice work! Click my name under creators and check mine out. actually look at my Molten Man from July/Aug 07, then look at my Nova for Oct 07, then check out my Iron Men from around Feb- Apr. look at the I.M. blasts closely.
All my flames are hot glue, the point is I 1st tried Nova in June and FAILED! I couldnt get the concept of making flames. I think I have gradually evolved using hot glue in the last year and gotten better.
Whether its airbrush, hot glue or Apoxie sculpt practice makes perfect and its a great start.
Just wanna give you ideas on how to make flames from scratch as believe me I know how hard they are to come by. I really like how your gold turned out.
