Shen Xorn 5-7-2008
Hello all, after getting a hold of a SF Gen, I knew I had to recreate Jin Saotome's Shen Xorn. The recipe is the same for the masked Shen Xorn. For the unmasked, I thought about doing the Iceman head and hands, but not to copy Jin's work completely, I decided to us the original SF Gen head and just painted his eyes blue w/ silver. I wanted a little more blue to show through in his clothes, so I painted the blue first and dry brushed white over it. I tried to find more pics of Shen Xorn in the monk outfit, but there is only one pic that I could find. And that is the one which he poses sitting with his legs crossed in a meditative pose. I toyed around with the idea of a different color outfit, but in the end, decided to stay with the white.
