I remember hearing about this, and the three main ingredients - animation, samurai and Samuel L. Jackson sold me before I ever saw frame 1. I used a 12" tyr, removed the dreds and gave him a shave, added some customized clothes from the Pirates of the Caribbean line and ripped up a nerf ball for his huge 'fro. The blade came from a sigma six storm shadow, the headband was t-shirt material with a coat hanger in it to make it poseable. The earrings were safety pins and the bracelets were pull tabs from orange juice containers. such a great character.
