Kakugo and Harara are siblings trained to fight the monsters roaming in post-apocalyptic Tokyo - 21st century. To aid them, Kakugo and Harara were entrusted with "Zero armors", exoskeletons forged from the souls of deceased warriors. After Harara succumbs to the evil within the armor, it is up to Kakugo to defeat his sibling.
Did all the sculpt work (apoxie) on a toy parachute figure found in any Dollar Store. Borrowed an alan key (small screwdriver) to imprint all those details in his armor. Used one of those dust cloth materials for the scarf. It's nice and light weight, cool for posing those blowing-in-the-apocalyptic wind snapshots lol. Painted in gun metal with chrome highlights. It was difficult to find ref pictures on the net, so had to rely on sketches while the dvd was on pause. Not a lot of articulation (head, arms, legs) so might make another one in Marvel Legends style.
Apocalypse Zero is a highly graphic anime cartoon without much plot, plenty of mashed flesh, twisting intestines and funny/freaky looking monsters. Not much in terms of impact, sort of get desensitized after the 1st 10 minutes. As animation goes, Guyver is way more cool and their monsters rock.
Thanks for checking this out!
