I love this character, absolutely adore him. Mike Mignola's tribute to pulp heroes like the Green Hornet and The Shadow, Lobster Johnson has a great look with his early pilot's gear and over sized goggles. I started with a 21st century "Boris" figure and than went through my 1/6 clothing stockpile to get the right materials. The coat was hand dyed and sewn, with the lobster claw hand painted on. The hood was sewn from an old scrap of leather and some piloy goggle from a Chinese mig pilot. To give him the round lenses and ear cups, I used thumb tacs. Hopefully, we will see him in Hellboy 3...aparently Del Toro's dream is to get Bruce Campbell, which is all good with me.
