![[Black Adam] I have always liked anti heroes and villains more than heroes. Snake Plissken, The Plutonian, The Punisher etc.
I recently read a TPB, JSA Volume 8, called Black Reign, Black Adam returns to his native country, overthrowing the current dictator, and appoints himself the countries new ruler/protector.
Here I have my version of Black Adam, no pointy ears, he was originally human, and the art in Black Reign shows him with regular ears. I opted for an all Gold and Black look, rather than use flat yellow.
The only thing I don't particularly like about the character's look are his yellow pirate boots. They just dont seem to suit the character. I opted to give him black boots, with golden armour plates on the shins and covering part of the feet. I feel this has a more practical look, and ties well with his armoured wrist bands.
