![[Red Skull (Xysma the Warhorse)] Hi Realmers!
^_^
This one's for our beloved Xysma the Warhorse! He's a hardcore Red Skull collector and I wanted to do something special, yet different for him. Based on his appearance in Captain America, Volume 3, Issue 15, I give you Red Skull Supreme! He conjures up a gold armor for himself after acquiring the Cosmic Cube.
I took a Raven Spawn and modified his head a bit. I removed his cape and filled in 3 cavities on his back (that were glued to the cape) with Aves Apoxie. Gave him a complete repaint.
Being that the figure is basically more of a statue (with limited articulation), I wanted to give this Red Skull different display options:
-Loincloth is removable. It attaches at the back with 2 magnets.
-Both closed hand & open hand (from a movie Spawn) can be attached via magnets.
-Swastika-like weapon was made using blister packaging and a piece from a fodder weapon.
-Swastika-like base is from an X-Men base.

So, of course, when one of your heroes asks if you'd like to collaborate on a project with him, there's only one answer I can think of....HELLZ YEAH!!!!!
I am a huge fan of Xysma's McDonaldland customs, so to be able to paint one of his new McDonaldland customs has been a great Honor and Privilege. The initial base figure served as a totally fun canvas to go crazy on. ^_^
Painting McDouble was almost a surreal experience as it seemed like Xysma had prepared the figure to go with the vision I had for him once I saw him.

A Valentine's gift for my lovely wife for being ever so patient and supportive of this awesome hobby I've been obsessed with. :)
The Starbucks Siren has been on my to-do list for some months now ever since I looked at a Starbucks Coffee Stopper and thought to myself, "This would make a cool staff!......for the Starbucks Siren!". Both my wife and I love Starbucks coffee and I felt this would make a cool homage to that Magical Place of Undersea Coffee.

Here's a custom that I made for one of our coolest Realmers, good Ole Jade Jaw!
Back in July of last year, he posted an awesome Green Lantern custom of Teal'c from Stargate. I instantly loved it and thought it was brilliantly executed. Well, this cool cat straight up offered me this masterpiece, unselfishly. He's also hooked me up with figure stands and a Space Ghost figure. I am grateful for what he's done and I've really been wanting to create a custom for him.
I love Alex Ross' art and I definitely wanted to create a Leader using the Alex Ross Sinestro figure, which I felt would translate well into the Leader. Ole Jade Jaw is a big fan of all things Hulk, but already has the 'bulging brain' version of the Leader. So, I decided to go for a more traditional look for this rendition of the Leader. I looked at several reference artworks of the Leader in his orange suit and took bits and pieces from some of them to create this custom.

Passing by a Kermit the Frog PEZ dispenser one day, I suddenly had the crazy idea of using it to create a MOTUC-style Kermit the Frog custom. I then saw Demo-Man's colors and thought he would be a near perfect fit as the base for Ker-Mit. This dude was a lot of fun to work on.
~Body - Mostly MOTUC Demo-Man with Mer-man hands (they look perfectly froggy). Sculpted around the wrists where shackles used to be. Added some green felt for his collar, which I had to paint. Printed some pics of Miss Piggy on water-slide decal paper and added them on as tattoos. The black-and-white pic is from LumpyGravy from devianART. Added additional detail to the tattoos using permanent markers. Even though Demo-Man's colors were just about perfect, I did have to paint certain parts of Ker-Mit to blend him well with the original paint job. I always wondered what would happen if He-Man pointed his sword to another being in Eternia besides Cringer. What would happen if he gave the Power of Grayskull to Orko, instead?
This was one fun custom to create as it allowed me to go wild with Orko's design, post-Power of Grayskull.
Since we never got to see his face, I also took some artistic freedom and created one using a Nite-lik head...one of the scariest alien heads ever! I figured Trollans only show their faces to one another because maybe they find themselves to be too horrific to other races. I did try to give him a more kind/friendly twist to his exposed head.
It's fun to be able to display him 3 different ways:
-Head w/ hat + scarf

When I watched this episode, I really liked the character design of Aremesh and immediately thought about making a custom of him. But how to make him fit in the MOTUC line without looking too buff or muscular? One day I saw Neca's Robocop and it all came together.
