so I got a sponge and started to scrape it off, then when I scraped as much as I could off it looked preety cool so I kept doing that.also I did some of the rips in the pants white to make it stand out! hope u enjoy and any comments are welcome

This Statue was once a Target Exclusive Marvel Legends Hulk made into a statue. Using Fixit and Apoxie Sculpt I filled in and resclupted all joints to make his body more natural. As you can see in the WIP pictures it was not an easy feat, the whole stomach, back, and neck needed the most work and I even had to almost shave down some areas to nothing and build it back up. Paints from now on will be different in composition, I no longer use Hobby paints but professional Vinyl Acrylic Copolymer Paints so no fading, no discoloration and no scratches. I topped him off with a nice coat of UV protective, non yellowing sealer just in case and he was done. I replace his hands with fists by widening the wrists and driving a nail through the fists and wrists. I drybrushed him with a few layers of green to give him the kinda muted movie colors. BTW, I'd like to give major props to my mom for introducing me to drybrushing and my dad for teaching me how to do things like attach hands and such.](userimages/customs/8500/8338-1.jpg) Hulk Movie Style Hulk - Movieby BalisconAfter seeing previews of the movie, I realized that the FO Hulk was the best match to the movie. ![[Gray Movie Hulk] Since I thought the Movie Hulk toy was a pretty good figure I decided what the world needed was a Gray Movie Hulk! But why gray? Well the Hulk was originally gray when he was created. Also, the Ultimate version of Hulk is gray. And let's face it, he always looks cool in gray. And for some reason I always think of gray hulk in purple shorts, rather than blue. Either way, he was fun to paint.
Paints used:

- Testors Model Master Acryl Euro I Gray
- Testors Model Master Acryl Flat Black
- Testors Model Master Acryl Napoleonic Violet
- Tamiya Acrylic Smoke
- Tamiya Acrylic Chrome Silver
- Games Workshop Citadel Warlock Purple
Hulk was first airbrushed a basecoat of Euro I Gray. I then heavily drybrushed Gray over this, then lightly drybrushed Light Gray over that. This gave him 3 nice tones, but I wasn't finished. I then airbrushed Smoke (clear gray) over him, which balanced the 3 different grays and made the difference in tone subtle. So when I heard he was in the new Incredible Hulk movie I was skeptical. However, after seeing the movie I must say, the filmmakers did a really good job in the translation of this character. I decided to do my own take on the movie toy, opting for an almost alligatorish texture and color scheme for the skin, and downplaying the protruding bones the original toy had. In the end, I think this is a nice custom based on the movie character, but paying respect to the reptillian original.

![[The Incredible Hulk] Hey all! Here's another awesome repaint! And just in time for the new movie!
This time it's none other than The Incredible Hulk. The base was a Target Exclusive Marvel Legends Movie Hulk. I based him in flat black and drybrushed coats of green, lime green, canary yellow, and pale yellow. (respectively) The pants were painted with different shades of brown and tan. You can't tell in the pics, but the eyes actually have a lime green iris with a black pupil and a tiny white highlight.
This really brought out the detail in an otherwise bland figure!

I got the inspiration to do this fig after seeing the crappy versions toys that Marvel is selling for the movie. The size difference between the Iron Man movie fig and Hulk movie fig should be way greater than what they made. Why not make it more comparable? That's what I was going for. I think I did a pretty good job using a permanent marker as my base coat! Then I mixed my blues and yellows to make the green. All in all I am happy with this figure. I used an XMC Colossus head and I can not believe how good it came out!! The size of his head compared to the movie screenshot I saw is just about perfect. The hair was made using apoxie. ![[Movie Incredible Hulk] With the new Incredible Hulk movie due out in June, it seemed like a good time to do a Hulk custom. The 6 inch Hulk from the movie line has good articulation and is a nice size to fit in with Marvel Legends so I knew I had to get him. He was actually fun to paint and didn't need any real improvement to the original mold. I opted to go with a more vivid green paint scheme than the one that the figure came with. This was my first time using an airbrush on a figure and since it turned out so well, laying down the paint so smooth, I will definately be focusing on doing more airbrushing on figures from here on out. I kept the original figure's eyes since they had nice detail and I didn't want to lose that.

But overall it was OK. ^_^ Well I thought that, again, they could've made the Absorbing-Man better, or stuck with the comics at least. It's just my opinion, so I made one of what I thought could've looked better for the movies. One that I thought, what Absorbing-Man should've looked like and would've "fit" the character beter, again, in my opinion. I sculpted the "cone head" on the top. The right arm was from The Thing model kit and fit it over the actual right arm of Kurt Angle's. I cut it in half, to retain some articulation and I sculpted some pants details as well. The chain came from a GI Joe sigma weapon and the boulder was simply made with Fixit Sculpt. Then the whole figure was painted. Thanks and enjoy!
