![[Arex] Lieutenant Arex, voiced by James Doohan, was a recurring character on Star Trek: The Animated Series which ran on NBC from 1973 to 1974.
Arex was a Starfleet officer assigned to the USS Enterprise as navigator. Arex was a member of a tripodal species (the Edosians) and had three arms and legs. Arex also sometimes took the conn, but he rarely left the ship on landing party missions.
For the custom I used the lower body of a Playmates Voyager Species 8472 figure and the upper body of a Playmates Trials and Tribble-ations Sisko. The extra arm came from a Kirk figure. I chopped off the hands and sculpted them, the head was sculpted from scratch. Started off with a Star Trek Warp Series McCoy from the new movie. The uniform's shirt was actually two parts- the sleeves, which were attached to the figure, and a poncho-like rubber torso-portion cut to fit with sleeve holes in it. I cut the front of it vertically so it fell like a jacket, and sculpted on buttons on one side and cut button holes on the other. Then, I used ApoxieSculpt to actually sculpt over the bare chest of the figure and used a toothpick and watery brush to detail it into a button-up shirt. I went in with an exacto-knife to make the once-poncho look a lot more like a jacket. Then, I used ApoxieSculpt to alter the hairline, add a goatee, and put on a watch. Then it was a matter of repainting every little square centimeter of that the clothing and hair. At the time, gloss paints seemed like a good idea, but retrospectively I should have gone w](userimages/customs/19500/19402-1.jpg) My Bad Self Star Trekby Merge SentinelOriginally entered for a contest a while back. M'ress] Lieutenant M'Ress, voiced by Majel Barrett, was a recurring character on Star Trek: The Animated Series which aired on NBC from 1973 to 1974. The character "M'Ress" was a female Starfleet officer assigned to the engineering section of the "USS Enterprise" under the command of Captain James T. Kirk. She also occasionally assumes the role of relief communications officer. M'Ress was Caitian: a felinoid race with long, thick orange fur and yellow eyes. She spoke softly and has a cat-like purring quality to her voice. "M'Ress" was depicted to not wear shoes and had four digits on each paw and a cat-like tail that would often get caught and pinched as the doors on the "Enterprise" automatically closed behind her.

![[Bothan Telepath] Star Trek Voyager, s02e8: "The crew seems to have fallen under some kind of psychoactive trance, the result of a bio-electric field emanating from a Bothan ship. It's up to Kes, whose telepathic abilities allow her to resist the field, and the Doctor to block the mysterious force that's disabling the ship. Kes manages to subdue a telepathic Bothan who confesses to having caused the disturbance, but he disappears before they can learn any more from him."
I took a "Tom Paris Mutated" figure, sanded the chin, cut the mouth and painted the face to reassamble the Bothan features. The hood was scuped with "cold porcelain dough" (I am not sure if that is the correct name in English, probably not).

Been excited to see what they're going to do for the Enterprise in the upcoming Star Trek movie. Played around with some Legos, BTR sets, and misc blocks to create this mish-mash Enterprise. More for fun and play value, but I'm kinda proud of how it came out. It was purely for fun. I like how Spock has that frown... He's kinda got that season-1 mop going (only hair I could find that was close was Harry Potter's). I think Kirk owes his mop to Malfoy's? Heh. Poor Yeoman Rand is goin' grey courtesy of Dumbeldore's hair. Luckily I had a girly face from a misc set I got from a website.
The shuttlecraft doesn't quite fit in all the way at the back, but it does snap into place. Close enough. Also, unlike TOS, the warp nacelles can fold down ala' Star Trek Voyager... an unintentional bonus based on the parts I was using.
Other details to see in the photos if you look close: Kirk's sorium brandy wine glass, his controls on his command c](userimages/customs/13500/13161-1.jpg) Lego Enterprise Star Trekby vidmouseLego Enterprise (TOS version with upgrades)

Standing 9.5" tall, and designed to engage resistance, his enormous right claw was taken from a Samurai Skeletor fig, along with various other custom parts, and grafted onto his arm. His alternate claw can swivel and clamp. Modifications and sculpting was done on a Mego Spock head, with a detachable re-generator panel located off-shoulder (taken from a Gargoyle figure accessory). A hole was drilled to allow the panel to easily snap on/off from his shoulder apparatus. Detailing was done throughout the figure and finished with a sheen of metallic paint, both brush/air applications.
This is a more geared for war build-up than the previous one, and done with an expression that could win any poker game. Spock was always analytical and dispassionate so this designation was chosen to depict someone who was "lively" at a party. ![[Borg Kirk] In an alternate universe somewhere, these two space buddies managed to get themselves assimilated. When our dear Captain Picard became Locutus during his capture on Borg turf, decided to have some fun with two other Star Trek dignitaries!
Because of Kirk's grudge against Klingons (they killed his son on planet Genesis, remember?)thought it'd be added insult to use an ArtAsylum Klingon Borg fig for Kirk's body. Sculpted on several other mechanical looking pieces (borrowed from Gundam/Macross/Patlabor). Wanted to create the figures to retain its Borg qualities yet be distinct from other Borgs.
Both Kirk & Spock heads had the best likeness from the Mego dolls and they happen to be in scale with the body. Modified to fit on the neck, extra cyborg parts for attached, and repainted the faces.
