![[Superman | New 52 | Cloth Cape] I had picked up a few Superman figures as I'm known to do and figured I'd try another fabric cape. This is as usual my "Pull-Through" style cape that is fastened into the body. The cape is cut to the "V" Profile as specked by DC's Style guide. I still have not managed to put an "S" on a cape yet but I imagine that will happen soon enough. This cape has the length of the style guide but it doe s have quite a bit of width to it so we get this nice extra wrinkle look. A new development here lately has been using hot glue underneath to shape the cape a little bit more and control how it lays over the shoulders and back. I hope to have some nice developments in this arena over the next few attempts.

From there I take hot glue and do one circle around the top of the neck and then press the cape onto the neck and work the glue down to the base of the cape around the chest and back. its settles pretty nicely and looks pretty smooth though I could use a couple more tries at it.

![[Superman | Classic DCSH Superman with Fabric Cape] I have done this one so many times over the years I thought I would circle back on an extra DCSH Superman figure and get back to my roots. This figure features added articulation throughout to help better balance and support those "Super Poses".
Alterations include:
• Neck has been regrooved for increased flexing of front to back/up & down
• Back has been deepened for added arching of the back
• Elbows have been ground out to allow tighter closure of forearms
• Inner thighs have been deepened to allow figure to stand upright
• Backs of knees have been ground out to allow tighter closure of lower legs
• Ankles have been deepened to allow full advantage to be taken of the rocker joints.
Also I have attached a pull through cape with some additional features. This cape has added security in the neckline so that fabric will never shift or pull up. The Lizard was the most diverse but still kinda weak and half-a$$'d.
The Hulk came with all this great sculptural detail in the hands and feet and body but the paint was just kind of a let down. I really do wonder for as simple a process as this seems to be why we don't get figures with this treatment.

The lizard figure itself looks so awkward in the packaging but with a few tweaks it can look awesome. I bought the Marvel Select figure as well and loved the way it was put together so when I saw the Hasbro version I was kinda disappointed at how the figure looked overall. It almost seemed like the abundance of articulation just punched holes in the appearance of the figure. Worst of all was the head/neck. For the added articulation of the neck area you still have this goofy head that's just stuck in the "Derp" position. So I removed some of the plastic from the back of the head/neck area to allow the head to take on more posablitity.

First we made the Peter Weller likeness from a The Miz WWE figure. Then we fitted it to the Robocop neck base. Now we have sculpted the top half of the head as well to reveal the cyborg part of the head. Once completed the entire piece was molded and cast (24 hour mold cure time, 5 minutes to cast). Since the original neck post was not tampered with the neck fits right in to the original figure. A little dremelling and its as good as stock.
