The game features two main factions, The Brotherhood of Steel and The Enclave. The Enclave are the villains of the game and feature a suit of armour slightly different to that of the Brotherhood of Steel.
I chose a Gi Joe Accelerator suit as the base figure, it matches the power armour very well and used a Storm Trooper helemet - it came in a three pack with the emperor. I dremmeled this out to make it removable (Always loved this feature as a kid!)
Fallout 3 has a very worn out, run down look. Nothing looks brand new. To match this look, I gave the figure a black base coat and dry brushed it silver, this gives the figure a worn out look.

![[Fallout 3 Combat Marine] Hi all, here is my submission for the Post Apocalyptic Contest.
Fallout 3 is an Action RPG set in a Post Apocalyptic futre Washington D.C.
The player, known as the "Lone Wanderer" is on a quest to locate their father amongst the ruins of DC. A fantastic game, I chose to make a representation of the Combat Armour.
Most people would have seen the Fallout 3 Power Armour ( It featured in most FO3 Trailrs) Having played a lot of FO3, I have certainly used the power armour, but have preferred playing with the Combat Armour as it is lighter, stealthier and more easily repaired - Plus I really like the look :)
I have chosen the Halo 3 figure for its detail and articulation.
Everything in the Post Apocalyptic Future of FO3 is run down and dirty. With this in mind, I wanted the custom paint job to match the FO3 Combat Armour look, using a combination of dry brushing and black washing to give the armour a grimy, worn apperance. I used G1 thrust as my inspiration, giving his arms and hands a coat of black paint, and highlighting some details in silver.
Paint rub is a pain on any figure, especially transformers as there are so many moving parts between transformation. I am proud to say there is no paint rub issues on this figure which means transforming him is no problem at all.
