![[Bruce Wayne (the Batman)] Hey!
This one had to be done. I mean, come on! Why has no company ever done Bruce in a suit! Anyway, a couple of guys had done it first, so I decided to give it a shot.
The base is a regular Bruce (duh :P) with EVERYTHING sculpted on. Simple in concept, a tad difficult in execution. I think he looks pretty decent.

First up is Neptune! This customs was super easy: It's a Safari great white shark, dremeled to heck, and painted with lots of washes and rubs to bring out all that scary detail!
I came up with two endings for this one. Here they are:
1. So there you have it. The easiest custom ever of the easiest boss ever.
2. So there you have it. A great looking RE monster, so easy a kindergardener could make it. (not that they should be playing Resident Evil in the first place)

This one barely qualifies as a custom. I received the Long Halloween boxed set (Batman, Joker, and graphic novel) from a friend last year, and while I loved the figures enough to pick up many of the others, I never liked the paint job on Joker's head. To fix it, I based the head in black, and dry-brushed the rest. Simple as that.

I loved how my 6" Stealth Batman came out, so when I came up with an extra TNBA Bats, I gave him the same treatment.
The figure was super easy to make. Just a little epoxy over the mouth, and the rest was a paint job.
This was given to my father as a birthday present, and I'm thrilled to say that he loved it. I think the black suit is his new favorite version.

I was disappointed that there were no six inch X-Men Origins: Wolverine figures, so I made a few of my own. First up is Gambit!
Gambit was made from a Helm's Deep Aragorn, heavily modified. The vest and collar were created with vinyl. I sculpted the folds in the shirt and the pant legs. The staff is a piece of metal cut to size, and the cards were printed from the internet.
While not completely accurate, I love this piece. I can't wait to finish up some of the other figures! Tell me what you think!

![[The Human Torch: FLAME ON!!!] Hey everyone!
This is my version of fastfreddie's PERFECT recipe. He was made from a ML 2 Human Torch with the hair sanded off and the head smoothed out. The fire is sheet styrene, cut and covered in hot glue. I used a thin brass bar and a block of wood for the base.
Both the Human Torch and the fire are completely removable. The coolest part is that when you shine a light on the back of the fire, it glows!

This was a project I'd been pondering for a long time. I love the character designs in most of Marvel Studios' movies, and Galactus was no exception. I mean, the only thing big enough to actually engulf an entire planet would be a storm, right? Anyway, I wanted some representation of the design on my shelf, but had no idea of how to go about making it.
Since it was a silly idea to try and make an "in-scale" version of what would basically be a big cloud, I decided an interpretation would have to suffice. I started with two large pieces of Styro-Foam: a sphere, and a cone. I cut off a piece of a wooden dowel and jammed it into the top of the cone, leaving about half the length exposed. Then I cut a hole into the bottom of the sphere, and carefully slid the cone inside. The dowel connected the two pieces, and insured that they would remain attached to one-another. Now comes the fun part.
I took the large "skeleton" outside and sprayed craft glue all over it.](userimages/customs/15500/15275-1.jpg) Gah Lak Tus (Movie) Fantastic Fourby evanjones1Hey!

![[Batman] Hey!
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my one-hundredth custom action figure! I thought long and hard about which figure would be my hundredth, and I finally settled on this. I think it's rather fitting that the Dark Knight himself is my big one-hundredth.
I made him out of the DCUC 1 Batman, with a belt from the old Zipline Bats. From there, it was only a simple repaint. Well, mostly.
The symbol was made from the old grey bat-symbol (made by my very good friend Matt (Iron-Cow) Cauley) that I had used on my stealth Bats. My little sister figured out how to re-color it on Gimp, and my mom cut it out for me. Talk about skill! It was attached with matte decoupage.
For a finishing touch, I gave him the batarang from the DCD Long Halloween Batman, given to me by my friend Ethan.
I think this figure turned out really nice, and I couldn't imagine a more awesome character to be my hundredth. After reading the description above, it really shocks me to see how many people it can take to cre](userimages/customs/14000/13972-1.jpg) Batman Batmanby evanjones1Hey!

![[Sin-Eater] Hey!
This was one of those customs you make to use up extra parts. I started with a ML Baron Zemo, Dremeled off the surface details, and sculpted the boot cuffs and collar. The right hand is from a ML 3 Wolverine, while the left is from a ML 4 Gambit. I sculpted the cuffs around them once they were in place. The belt was made from a thick rubber band, with pouches from the LCBH Super Patriot. The head is a heavily-sanded movie Daredevil head. I originally had the outline of a nose underneath, but I ultimately went with this look.
One of the toughest parts was the paint. His costume is so garish, that it's hard to take the character seriously. I tried to make him look a gritty as possible while still keeping true to the original design. After he was painted, I gave him the shotgun from a ML Bishop.
I think he turned out pretty nicely, and he really stands out on the shelf! By the way, has anyone ever noticed the similarities between this guy and Killer Moth? I've included a picture](userimages/customs/14000/13622-1.jpg) Sin-Eater Spider-Manby evanjones1Hey!

![[Rorschach] Hey!
This project was fairly easy, but difficult at the same time. I started by taking a spare Movie Masters Joker removing the head and coat. His head and ascot were sculpted.
For his trench coat, I took an old binder and cut off a square of the plastic. The plastic was then fitted for him and glued down. The straps and pockets were made with rubber bands, while the buttons were sculpted. The collar and lapels were more binder plastic.
The hat (removable) was made by sculpting on the X-Evo Wolverine's cowboy hat. His signature grappling gun was taken from a DCUC Batman.
Painting him was a unique experience. For the face, I made sure my brushes were a bit wet, as to create a sort of dripping effect. I think it worked fairly well.

This one was super easy and fun to make. It was basically just a painting exercise. I used the old ML4 Beast and used varying tones of black, grey and white for the fur. White, grey and yellow were used in layers on the teeth and nails, and fire engine red gives the eyes an eerie, sinister look.

It was made by attaching two large pieces of cardboard to one another. I carefully covered the whole thing with spackle. I tried to distribute it evenly to prevent buckling. Real dirt was used to cover the spackle. The fallen pillars are white candles that I cut and dirtied up a little bit. The crumbling stone walls are styro-foam that was ripped apart and painted. I made the trees out of dead twigs in my backyard.
I decided that there needed to be something on the right side to balance things out. A large piece of decorative fish tank stone did the trick. I used Spanish moss and dirt clods to bring the look together.
One of the neatest things about the diorama is the false bottom in the center. First I set the whole diorama on top of styro-foam blocks to raise it off of the ground. Then I cut a large hole in the center and put an aluminum trough inside. Now it can be filled up with dirt to conceal a figure or just to create an uneven terrain.

After seeing Quantum of Solace, I HAD to have a James Bond figure! I was really angry that there were figures that had all been sculpted and were ready to produce, but the company shut down. If I was going to have a James Bond set, I was gonna have to make it myself.
Daniel Craig is a strange looking guy. His facial features are so distinct that it would be all-too-easy to mess it up. I ultimately decided to go with the ML Absorbing Man, which worked better than I thought it would. Okay, so my Batdemon looked alright at first, but he just didn't seem DONE.
