![[Mindless One] One of the Mindless Ones, extra-diminsional creatures who do the bidding of others by way of magic. (They have no will of there own) They are usually employed by Dormammu. This was a fun custom to do and it was fairly easy. I started with a Thing body and swapped the head of Clownface. (WIP pic can be seen on my Thing custom) I had a small piece of stain glass that I used as his face and then I sculpted around it. I added sculpt in various parts of his body, added a few wrinkles, and put little craters here and there. I left some of the Thing's rocky exterior showing in a few places. Painted the whole thing black, then two shades of gray and then I "antique" it with black again. Let me know what you think.](userimages/customs/18000/17816-1.jpg) Mindless One Marvel Legendsby Bamf67One of the Mindless Ones, extra-diminsional creatures who do the bidding of others by way of magic. I thought he looked pretty cool, so I started using the Dremmel on his arms and sculpted part of his belt. I started making the four fingered hands into three, when I thought "I wondered if anyone else had this idea". Sure enough, after a quick search of the FR, Shinobitron had beat me to it. So I give him full credit with coming up with the idea first. Anyway, when I was done with the custom, I envisioned Johnny Storm buying a night club and asking good ol' Ben here to be his bouncer and this is what he would look like. I added a blue belt buckle because the Thing has to have some blue on him. Let me know what you think.

![[Hitman Tommy Monaghan] . I have to be honest, I never heard of Tommy Monaghan, so I had to "look him up" on the internet. When I saw him, I thought "Superman with shades and a cig" so I looked for Superman figures when I ran across "Marv" and thought this would be a perfect base. The 2 biggest problems I had was getting rid of all the bandages on the face (especially over the left eye) and making his "shades". I also added a collar to his trenchcoat by cutting up a Wrrarl cape I had and sculpted the little clips on his collar. I cut a piece of plastic, warmed it up to form it, then cooled it under running water and then dremmeled it to size to make his "shades. I then attached them to his head with 2 little screws behind the ears which allows them to be put up on his forehead to reveal his black eyes. I sculpted the front of his hair, a collar for his t-shirt and the "cig".

![[Arcade 2.0] I re-did my original Arcade. I listened to some of the critiques and filled in the holes in the back and shortened his legs a quarter of an inch. I also re-sculpted his hair, bell bottoms and tie, this time using Aves Apoxie Sculpt instead of Sculpty, which is a lot stronger and durable. This is, by far, my favorite custom to date. Comments, as always, are welcome.

![[Dormammu] D/O/B 8/27/08 First off, I'm really pleased how this one turned out. I was nervous because I didn't think I could make the smoke/flame around his head work, but it turned out real well. Mostly, I smoothed out the head and did a little sculpting on the brow, sculpted the flame and collar and re-painted. I sculpted the tiara and belt using Craft Porcelain and painted her outfit silver using clear red and clear blue to make the outfit shine. Originally the hair wouldn't fit because the head was too small, but put a little Craft Porcelain in side the hair, press down on the head, take it back off and let it dry.
