![[Custom DC Direct 1/6 Scale Batman - Removable Cowl] I took the 1/6 scale batman (13") and stripped his tights off and painted his nude body with model masters. I then got two heads that I think look like a potential bruce wayne and made a hole with my dremel stylus the right size so they could be removable. One of the bruce heads looks similar to the bruce from the animated show so I made a cowl that looks similar to batmans cowl from BTAS. I used a piece of pleather with crazy glue as base of mask and sprayed it with plastic dip from home depot. There where some holes once the mask dried so I used the fill in gap method in tutorials section from jin saotomes website (Crazy glue, baking soda and sandpaper - look it up. I then painted with model masters. The neck and shoulders which hold cape are made from pleather painted. I made a big winglike poseable cape from rip stop nylon fabric (joanne fabrics) its relatively cheap and similar to umbrella material. Inserted strong twisties and used crazy glue to seal in folded sleeves in fro](userimages/customs/24500/24141-1.jpg) Custom DC Direct 1/6 Scale Batman - Removable Cowl DC Directby Ricky LewisI took the 1/6 scale batman (13") and stripped his tights off and painted his nude body with model masters. ![[Bruce Wayne - Batman] I used the internal chest wheels of the metamorpho BAF and also cut open the DC Universe Batman figure and put the wheels in the torso. I cut off the end pieces of the metamorpho and glued them to the Batman arms and legs so they could pop in and out. Unfortunately to do this figure you almost need two sets of the metamorpho series or you could make a mold of these pieces that pop in and out, I was to lazy though. The head is zipline, and pops off to put Bruce head. Everything pops in and out from the arms, legs, tie to the chest emblem and cape to the grapple on his belt and rope into the grapple. The jacket, suit arms are from a Rocky announcer figure with the popping parts glued to the ends. Belt is from dc superheros Batman. contact me if you want more pics. If anyone knows how I could respond to comments please let me know.
Thanks,

![[Batman - Unmasked] The figure was made from the upper torso of the Luke cage figure (with the waste rotation attached) with the grooves dremeled down. I cut the hips of a dc superheros Batman and glued the hips to the rotating part of lukes waist so he could turn. I used lukes upper legs and attached the lower legs of a xmen classic ninja wolvie. I used the lower arms of the dc superheros batman, the neck and shoulder cowl of zipline bats, the actual neck is dc superheros batman, the fist is from luke, the left hand is from the same ninja wolvie and the belt was from dc superheros bats.I cut dc superheros supes head in half from below the nose and cut dc superheros batmans head in half from below the nose and glued them together to make his head. The cowl was made by spraying a hush batman head with plastic dip at about 12 inches away about 3 or 4 coats, allowing to dry overnight. I then sculpted the ears, nose and brow with apoxie (cause the plastic dip rounds points out) and sprayed one last nice coat.](userimages/customs/5500/5024-1.jpg) Batman - Unmasked Batmanby Ricky LewisThe figure was made from the upper torso of the Luke cage figure (with the waste rotation attached) with the grooves dremeled down.
