Sadly he dies early in the movie to set up the whole "whatever could go wrong, does" plot but plays a really significant role in the video game.
Same basic recipe as my other Warriors but both Cleon and Snow have added little details that made them fun to do. With Cleon I had to deal with the headdress instead of sculpting hair. Found some leopard print fabric, cut it to size and glued it down. Then created the headband from leather bead cord and thread. His tribal necklace was made from scratch with Sculpty. Loyal, even tempered and able to rise to any occasion. The type of guy who rarely speaks but sums up the situation perfectly with something profound when he does. Who doesn’t like the strong, silent type?
Like Cleon, Snow brought some interesting costume challenges: had to sculpt his parted afro and worked hard to get the shape and texture right. His necklace is a re-purposed chain from a Hellboy accessory, his armband is a combination of cloth and a real thin thread of hemp. The belt details were also done with Sculpty. I like his skin tone a lot – had to sand the joints on both he and Cleon to avoid paint rub. ![[Ajax from "the Warriors"] Ajax is number 2 of the 9 figure Warriors set I'm making. Ajax is the worst kind of cocky loudmouth - the kind who can back up all the talk. He is one of the Warriors' heaviest brawlwers, making up for a lack in finess with raw strength and ferocity. With Ajax, it's punch 'em in the face first, ask questions later.
I used the same recipe used for Swan - with a base fig this perfect, the choice is easy for most of the Warriors. I made another Sculpty cast from the Thor head mold but did more facial modification than on Swan and sculpted all the hair. The belt buckle is also Sculpty. The vest is pleather with vinyl trim and the patches were printed, laminated, glued down and sealed. Painted head to toe with acrylics.

I tackled Swan first - he is the the gang's Warchief (second in command) and the central character in the movie. After the gang's Warlord (leader) is killed, Swan has to lead a small group of Warriors through miles of rival territory to reach their home turf. To make matters worse, every gang in NY is hunting them for a murder they didn't commit.
The recipe is basically a modified Wolverine from the Marvel Selects line. To make the head, I made a push mold of a Thor figures face and once I had a Sculpty cast, I modified it and sculpted the 80s hairdo. The vest is made from pleather with vinyl trim. The vest's rocker and Warbird symbol are laminated color printouts that I glued down and sealed. Painted the head, chest, jeans, shoes - the arms wre already flesh colored so no paint rub!

![[Inhumanoids Tendril] I finally finished tendril and now have all the major inhumanoids monsters, updated in a millenial style. Tendril was made from a 12" rotocast hulk's upper body, a 12" jakk's wrestler from from the waist down, a tail from the fff baf and arms from a vintage tendril. The whole body was sculpted head to toe. When he was complete I felt like something was missing, like he needed more edge - so I added spines on his back, shoulders and head to give him a cactus vibe. The spines look vicious but are completely flexible and soft to the touch so they they won't snap off or poke an eye out. I'm really proud of this set because I'm pretty sure I'm the only customizer on the planet to tackle these characters. They really brought out the 12 year old kid in me. ![[Stan Winston's TRAKK] Stan Winston and McFarlane had a short lived partnership years ago that produced my favorite action figure of all time, Trakk. Trakk is an immortal monster hunter, cursed to live until he has rid the world of monster (which turn out to be the spawn of an ancient alien evil). Trakk was concieved by Winston but designed by Simon Bisley to incorporate different time periods and cultures. Every time I look at the original figure, I see something new - making it a favorite on my shelf. The comics never really delivered on the potential of the character and only lasted 2 arcs.
The original figure is hard to beat so this was really just an experiment to see if I could pull off a more articulated version that would be in scale with my Marvel Legends figs. Hulking is the base but I also incorporated parts from SOTA Guile and lots of molded and scaled down parts from the original figure. I needed three small base bodies and the new Ewok 3-pack from Hasbro was perfect. I sculpted the mouse heads over the Ewok heads so I could still make use of the ball joint neck. The Ewok feet were popped off and replaced with mouse legs (created with metal wire coated with hot glue and sculpty feet). Tails were done the same way. D-compose is lord of the undead and can turn his victims into mutated, corpse-like pawns with a single touch or trap foes inside his exposed "rib cage". For the update, i wanted to loose the childish colors and really amp the horror vibe with lots of exposed muscle and random boney spikes pushing through his rotting flesh. I'm a big fan of zombie movies so this was fun to do. - body from icons venom
- head is actually a hand from a snakemen skeletor with venom's teeth incorporated
- feet and spikes from resident evil william
- open wounds/exposed muscle created with sculpty

Inspired by Weta’s awesome ray guns but unable to afford one due to skyrocketing fuel prices, I set out to build my own scavenged/found-parts sidearm. The STARHAMMER is the product of multiple trips to local hardware and craft stores and about 30 hrs of garage engineering. The design is original but owes a lot to Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, the Steampunk movement and of course the brilliant Greg Broadmore. I tried to modify the existing parts to elaborate and disguise them but if you look hard enough, you can identify the original parts used (which is fine). I’ve always been fascinated with how the props in the original Star Wars films were built from existing items they cobbled together – so I guess you could ad those props to the pile of inspirational sources. As time and parts permit, I hope to build more ray guns before the imminent invasion.](userimages/customs/8000/7958-1.jpg) X-59 Starhammer Ray Gun |

I had made an animation accurate version but wanted to make a new figure that was more representative of Frazetta’s art. I saw Dr.F8’s Jaguar God custom (Verotic based Jaguar God on Darkwolf’s design) and it inspired me to break out the Exacto, Sculpty and paints.
