![[WW2 Kriegaffe and Controller] Here is another alternative WW2 custom-I have made some Allied heroes in the past so I thought it was about time I did some Nazi enemies.
I've always loved Hellboy and I really like the Kriegaffe in the comics so I thought I'd make my own to fit in with my customs unlike the figure that it done in the style of Mike Mignola(and is impossible to find!!!!!!!)
My inspiration for a lot of these customs comes from the huge range of alternative WW2 wargames-I don't play them but I do like some of the ideas and characters. The allies seem to have go down the route of robots and super heroes whereas the Nazis go for the occult and fantasty creatures such as the Kriegaffe, vampires and werewolves-it is my plan to depict some of these in future customs
I've been planning this for a while but I lost interest for a bit so Kreigaffe has been hanging around my workbench for a couple of months or so now until I found an old Doc Ock figure and decided to make a controller for the ape.

I call him "Fighting Tommy"
The recipe is very simple-not a lot of customising -I picked up a couple of LCBH Patriots-I don't know anything about the character but I do like the look of the figure. So using Super Patriot as a base I set about making him look more like a WW2 retro figure-
I made the helmet from plasticard for the rim and milliput for the dome of the helmet.
The Chest armour is the shoulder pads from Super Patriot and slightly cut down to fit the chest. The 2 front pouches are from Elite Force as is the backpack, the 2 leg pouches and the holster on the chest.I also used a Fantastic Four vest(from Mr Fantasic) to mount the armour on. The pouches around the waist are the original ones from the figure.
The gun is from the 12 inch Dragon range-I simply cut off the original weapon and mounted this on the arm-I felt this gave the figure an older feel and look as it is based on an actual WW2 gun](userimages/customs/11000/10613-1.jpg) WW2 Fighting Tommy |
![[Sky raider- WW2 Rocket Hero] Sky Raider is my latest original custom from my "Alternative WW2" series of figures.
The Recipe was as follows:
Base Figure-Madman
Straps were from some spare bits I had knocking about, the helmet is from Elite Force,as is the satchel on the figures leg, the pouches, the knife on the chest and holster around the ankles, the kneepads were from a Judge Dredd figure as was the pouch belt.
The 3 pouches on the figures chest are from the DC Direct Flash figure from "The Liberty Files",the Goggles are made from Plasticard and painted, the scarf if from LCBH Ripclaws arm and the rocket itself is from the Graphitti Madman figure with some spare bits from a model kit added to it.
The cables from the rocket pack to the wrist control are from Marvel Legends Pyro and the wrist control is from Star Wars. The Thompson machine gun is from a set of guns I found in a discount store -I added the scope, changed the barrel, stuck on the extra long magazine and the strap.

This being a character from Marshal Law it is again a humourous take on a well known established Super Hero-in Private Eyes case it is Batman.
Having brutally slain his own parents outside a video rental shop, with the aid of his trusty butler Albert, billionare Scott Brennan adopts the guise of the Private Eye,his secret identity being the worst kept secret in San Futuro. Also known as the "Street Surgeon" he maims and tortures criminals.
Like Batman he takes young wards-orphan boys to be his sidekicks,in a twist of the Batman story though unfortunately for the young boys they end up being killed and harvested for their organs in order to keep Private Eye youthful. Marshal Law uncovers Private Eye for what he really is and delivers justice in his own way on the 50th Anniversary of the Private Eye( which coincidentally was the same year as Batman if](userimages/customs/10500/10352-1.jpg) Private Eye DC Superheroesby Fant0masOk-here is the Private Eye.This character appeared in the one shot Marshal Law comic "Kingdom of the Blind" in 1990.

![[Persecutor (from Marshal Law)] OK I did say that my next Marshal Law custom would be Private Eye -I am still working on him-but once I started Persecutor I couldn't stop!
He is basically a Sentry repaint-I removed the cape, trimmed the belt down and moulded a different hair style on him.
The Persecutor appeared in "Crime and Punishment Marshal Law takes Manhattan" comic book-he is a tongue in cheek character mimicking one of my favourite Marvel characters, The Punisher, and that was another reason I had to make this custom.
The costume base colour is a little darker in the book but I think it is a fair representation. I also wanted the face to have the dark rings round the eyes-similar to the Mike Zeck Punisher-and to give that manic look as in the comic book.
Apologies for the head tattoo- I did wonder if I should paint it or not-but I wanted to make a faithful resemblance to the comic book character so I left it on.It does not represent my views or beliefs in any way.

![[Judge Fant0mas] A bit of self indulgance here! I picked up a Judge Dredd figure cheap and when I opened the packet I found the helmet wasn't on very straight,so with a bit of encouragement I managed to get the helmet off.
To my surprise Marvel toys had sculpted a full head sculpt of Dredd,so in a moment of silliness I thought I would make a figure that sort of resembles me!
I sculpted the sideburns, moustache and beard gave the figure head a coat of paint and there we have it. I also trimmed off the Dredd name badge and added my own surname to the badge.

I don't read danger Girl comics but when I saw Major Maxim I knew I had to make a Marshal Law! He is perfect-my only prob with this custom is articulation-but he looks good on display.
So this is a real blast from the past for me-he is probably the only remaining custom figure I had until I stared doing it again recently.
So base fig-Major Maxim, the base is from Major Maxim too ,as is the gun, a little plasticard to make the Cap America mask and various bits and bobs for the accessories a lick of paint and there we go-the stars are little stickers that my daughter had and she kindly donated to me.

![[Zombie Captain Britain] I really liked the Marvel Zombie stories. I also like the figures that have been released by Marvel Select. Coming from the UK and being a fan of Captain Britain I thought I would make a custom zombie figure of him.
I got the skeletor figure-cut the left leg off and sculped a stump. I liked the Skeleton face of the figure so a simple helemt was made which allows you to still see the features of the zombie. The body was also good as a zombie with the sunken stomach and clawed feet and hands. So with several coats of paint to make the dirty Cap Britain costume my zombie was complete. The Guts he is holding comes from a McFarlane figure.. I also removed the "action feature" button from the figure and inseted a Marvel Legends stand to give the impression he is flying.

He was the only good thing in the Stallone Judge Dredd movie in my opinion. I had purchased the ABC robot vinyl kit some while back and stored it away for a rainy day.
I happened to find a FF Doombot figure cheap so I picked it up. Then looking at it I got the idea of taking bits from the ABC robot kit and adding them to a poseable figure. So all this custom is made up from the base figure of the Doombot and bits and pieces from the ABC robot vinyl kit. So it is not movie or comic accurate but I think a darn cool looking robot!

The Gun is from Major Maxim and I just modified it witha few odd and ends.

Like most of my customs it is a very simple one. I got the Hasbro MK1 Iron man figure and gave it a coat of Olive Drab paint. I added the helmet from an Elite Force figure and the robot figure was nearly done.
I really liked the Iron man figure and it looks older and not as refined or sleek as the modern suits so I thought it fit in well with my WW2-era customs
As you can see from the picture of the rear of the figure I wanted to add some kind of ammo store so I took a broken radio from my 12 inch Dragon figures and stuck it to my custom. I then added a belt of bullets which are added to give the impression that the ammo for the Troopers gun is belt fed from the ammo bin on his back. The wire leading from the ammo bin is also part of the broken 12 inch radio. The machine gun is from an Elite Force figure and I thought that it didn't look too modern

![[WW2 Tommy Robot Trooper] Another custom to swell the ranks of my WW2 Invaders group.
I saw a wargame which was set in an alternative WW2 scenario where the Allies used Robot Troops. I thought this was a good idea so I decided to have a go myself. A bit of a no brainer this,I immediately thought of the Marvel Legens original Iron man as it looks big and clunky not sleek like the modern outfits. But instead of having a man inside I wanted an all robotic soldier.
So a coat of Olive Drab paint, some decals from WW2 military kits and he was done. The goggles are from Stealth Wolverine and the radio antennae is part of a broken headset I had for my 12 inch Dragon Military figures. the pouch was made from Milliput and is designed to resemble the British Army Ammo pouch from WW2. The Thompson machine gun was found in a pcket of knock off cheap figures I found in a discount store. I liked the figure but it lacked the articulation and it was too big to fit in with my lineup. So I chopped him up-taking the goggles, cape, accessories and belt from the Liberty Files Bats and putting them on my own figure. I liked the way it looked. I also took the grappling hook/Batline from the DC Universe Batman figure and swapped the hook for a more batarang type look.I never did like the grappling hook that came with the DC universe Bats but I thought it fit in well with a WW2 Batman as it looks a bit clunky and not so high tech as its modern counterpart.

The Sleepman is a major character in the first Marshal Law story Arc and I fealt that he was a valuable addition to my custom range of Marshal Law figures.
I took a Ripclaw figure(don't know who he is but I got him cheap!)as he already had the claws/blades on his hands as the Sleepman does-that saved a major headache -I wasn't sure how I would have gone about making the claws-anyhoo Ripclaw seemed a good choice-the claws are not exact to the comic version but they saved me a headache so that'll do for me! I then simply cut off the hair moulded the bag/mask with Milliput leaving the eyehole. The cloak is from a Lord of the Rings figure-can't remember the name-one of the bad guys -and it suited the Sleepman's tattered look he had in the comics.
