I wanted this to be like something I could see them use in a film, but still capture Bane. I didn't want him to be hulk big, but something more like an actor could portray.
To start we've seen the X3 Juggernaut frame used as Bane many a time. I think that's for a reason though. It has that Timm/Dini later era Batman animated feel, you know that whole dominatrix look!
I unlike most x3 juggy-banes, used some of the plating on the boots and treated it like metal, I thought it would give it that s#!t-kicker look, not that he needs metal plated boots to hurt somebody! Playing the title role was the legendary body builder, Lou Ferrigno. In honour of this man-monster, I really wanted to make this figure. I used this other figure from the Jakks line of wrestlers, I don't know who he is, but his frame is different from the HHH and Batista body type, his chest is bigger and I think it matches that of Ferrigno really well!
I carved and cleaned off the HHH head's beard and hair, sculpted bigger brow ridges, and eyebrows, and the mop of hair on his head. This came together quickly for me because I was excited to work on it. Due to the parts I used, I thought of it as on par as the average marvel legends figure's articulation, and seeing that there was a longstanding terminator series of comics, I felt it was best to represent it like a legendary comic book hero's.
So that's what it is, my version of the LEGENDARY COMIC BOOK HEROES take on the Terminator.

Head, Hands, Jacket, and Accessories: McFarlane Terminator
Torso and Arms: TNA James Storm
Legs and Feet: TNA Lance Hoyt
I liked the Mcfarlane figure, it was a gift from a friend who cleaned house. I'm an articulation nut though and I wasn't happy looking at it.

The classic version of Mjolnir is completely made from scratch, the hammer's head is sculpted painted in dry brushed layers and treated with a final speckled layer to give it that stone look.

The first is a quick fix of the Marvel Select Thor that gives him the articulation of the average marvel legends figure.
I swapped the upper legs and hips with the Hasbro Marvel Legends Ruler of Asgard Thor. I had to affix the original figure's round plug from the hips that holds the torso on to the new hips. Then I had to put a new lip around the plug to keep it from going loose, keeping the connection between the hips and torso tight. It was a little playing around that made the swap a little more difficult than I thought it would be.
I was going to shave of the straps on the side of the legs, but I liked how they looked, and had an idea to paint them silver to match the suit. I like how it looks so I'm keeping it. I feel it looks like the ultimate's suits.

I liked the facial features of the 'Hulk Classics' savage Hulk. Especially the nose, I feel it really fit the Hitch style. I looked over the books, and what I saw in the savage hulks face is thoroughly exemplified in the time during the Ultimates series where they squared off against the aliens.
What I didn't like about the head was having to Dremel down the hair to re-sculpt it. It took a bit to get it uniform to my liking. Once it was cleaned and sanded up, I sculpted over it to really polish it up, and then I sculpted hair over that. I also re-sculpted and added teeth (molars), and a tongue. I felt the tongue looked missing, and the teeth on my figure were just simply wrong, the sample photo of the original head sculpt is from another figure. The second films figure had a lot of posablility, but maybe too much. I think it made his chest look awkward, and from the back, where the arms came out of the torso was a disaster.
The worst of my problems with the figures was that my first film figure's colour was fading, quick, and blotchy (you can see it in some of the leftover parts of the third photo).
