![[Concept Toht] Hi All
I've been wanting to do this concept figure that Ron Cobb had done for a long time, I was going to do in 4 inch size but a friend of mine Glorbes had already did it and it's a great figure. So since I have been doing a lot of 1/6 scale Indy figures it was only natural that I would do him in this scale.
RECIPE
1: Concept Toht - The body, left glove, glasses, uniform, boots and hat are all from Dragon, the uniform was dyed black and the hat was also repainted black and detailed with flat white and silver. The head is Toht from Sideshow Toys I added a bionic eye and ear by using some old 40K GW parts I had in the bits box.
As for the bionic arm I used parts from some Hasbro AOTC droids and and a part from a 4 inch moisture vaporator and pieces of wire which were in my bits box, The straps that hold the arm onto the body are strips of leather cut to size then attached.
2: Base - The base is very simple as I didn't want anything to detailed to distract from the figur](userimages/customs/19000/18584-1.jpg) Concept Toht Indiana Jonesby HembleHi All

I finished this figure/dio about 3 weeks ago and didn't want to show it until I had a small saxaphone to go with it, but alas I couldn't find one so I decided that I would show the pics without it.
While the snow blizzard is happening Indiana sits back and gets comfortable and tells Grey Cloud the story of when he was a waiter at COLOSIMO's in Chicago and he's love for the blues.
RECIPE
1:Indiana Jones - Everything is the Sideshow Indy except the bag which is the Relic Hunter's, the shoes are the Hasbro's Indy and the hands are the Medicom Indy.
The jumper is from an old suit I had in the parts box and the scarf was from a WW2 German figure. Indy's hair and beard were sculpted using Games Workshops Green stuff.
2: Base - The base is made foam core sheest glued together and the balsa wood was super glued on top for strength, once dry I scribed floor boards by using a knife then some tweezers. ![[KOTCS Indy] Hi All
I was stoked when I picked up the Medicom Indy really cheap but when I received it and opened it up I was a little dissapointed in the details and some of the equipment.
I set about adding different pieces from Sideshows Indy and repainting and weathering the figure/equipement using Vallejo, Reaper miniature paints and pastels to add extra weathering.
RECIPE
1:Indiana Jones - The jacket, bag, whip, revolver and hands are from the Sideshow Indy and the rest are the Medicom figure. The reason I replaced certain items is that they were either incorrect or not the right size, the head sculpt would have to be the best thing about this figure and with a repaint it looks spoton to an old Ford.
I added an extra little girth by using left over material and wrapped it around the belly and then used tape to keep it in place, I haven't done a base as I'm still awaiting for materials to arrive but once it does he will look good on the base which will be the cemetery scene.

This was another simple and easy custom to do, I don't know if there is actually any Jedi Jawa's in the SW universe but it was fun to create one.
The figure was painted and weathered using Games Workshop and Vallejo paints and extra weathering was done using pastels.
RECIPE
figure - The Jawa is from Hasbro, The figure was cut super glued and re-pinned at the joints to get the desired pose. The tunic is from an old Hasbro Tatooine Luke figure and the saber is from Sideshows Bespin Luke which has had the hilt and blade resized.
Base - The base is an old DVD lid the centre hole was covered and then a 3 part mix of plaster of paris, sand and PVA glue were mixed and then added to the lid. Once dry it was painted and drybrushed using the above mentioned paints.

RECIPE
1: Indiana Jones - The whole figure is the Indiana Jones figure from Sideshow toys and has been painted and weathered using Reaper, and Vallejo paints and weathered using pastels.
2: Base - The base is made from a thick piece of plastic and foam core with a balsa wood frame work. The foam core was cut to size and then the crate was place on top and the I traced around it with a pencil and then cut out the area the crate was. I then glued everything togther and once dry I then scribed lines into the foam core and then a two part mix of plaster and PVA glue was mixed together and brushed on using a wide brush.

RECIPE

I had to cut and drill out the leg, fingers and facial area to add the bones and then used putty to simulate eaten and rotten flesh.
To get the teeth marks I used an old paint brush and dipped in super glue to harden it a little and then gently pushed it in the drying putty. To simulate blood I used Games Workshops Gore Red first then Dark Flesh and then a two part mix of Red Gore and Chaos Black.

This will be my last figure/dio for 3 weeks as I'm off on coarse so I'll see you all when I get back.
I had a Hasbro ToD figure left over from some customs I did a while ago and decide to just make a nice simple dio showing of the figure, The pics show Indy coming down into an egyptian tomb to look for artifacts and after spotting some nasty slithering snakes he pulls out his whip ready to attacking thing that comes near him.
The figure, artifacts, snakes and base were painted and weathered using Vallejo and Games Workshop paints.
RECIPE

I wanted another simple dio which showed off the Indy figure in a jungle setting. Once the dio was built and the figure was in the right pose I painted/weathered and dry brushed everything using Vallejo, Games Workshop paints and pastels.
RECIPE
1: Indiana Jones - The Indy figure is from Sideshow except the fedora which is from and is the The frontline custom heads older style fedora, This was an ideal as I wanted him to have a tall hat like in raiders.
The boots are from the 12" Hasbro talking Indy, I liked these boots as they have fantastic detail to them. The machette is from a WW2 Australian Light Horse figure and the artifact is from the hasbro 3-3/4" indy figures, I just cut is in half and gave it a weather.

This was a nice and simple custom to do especially having done a lot of Indy figures/dio's of late, after it was all put together it was painted using Vallejo and Games Workshop paints and pastels were used to weather the clothing.
RECIPE
figure - The Jawa is from Hasbro, I cut the right arm at the joint to give it a more straight look so it could hold the weapon better. The robes were given a good weather by using pastels. The weapon was modified by giving it a larger stock/butt and then a 1/6 walkie talkie was used for a power cell and the coil is from a 1/6 hand set.
The old rubber bandolier was removed and a new one was added by using leather and and 1/6 ammunition pouches from a WW1 and WW2 figure, the droid caller was still used and a new pouch was made using leather a small buckle.

Putty was used at the back of the ghost for balance and then tissue paper was used as the cloth and thin wire was attached to the skeletons frame so the tissue could be attached and look like it's flowing. The tissue was given a coat of diluted wood glue to make it firm.

he wanted the at-at to be in an edor type setting. This was a simple diorama to do and once i got the desired postioning of the legs and then the right look for the base the at-at and base were painted using vallejo and games wokshop paints.
i wanted to add some stormtroopers from the battle pack series for a size perspective but could'nt find any so once i do they will be added but until then this is a great way to display the at-at
recipe
at-at - is from hasbro and had a few simple touch ups done to it, the inside legs were done using cardboard to hide the hollow look to them. The windows have had plasticard attached to the insides to cover them up, and extra toes were added by making them out of plastic.
base - the base is an old book shelf , and has been built up using sand, plaster of paris. The shrubs and bushes are from woodland scenics and plastic fish tank plants and the grass is also from woodland scenics.

Tatooine is an isolated garrison planet. Pretty much seen by imperials as a punishment posting. There are numerous posting like this in the SW universe. The local Imperial Commandant has abandoned ambition & a military career for a more lucrative criminal life. The sector Moff is uninterested in his activities as long as he receives his tithe.
The Tatooine Commandant has specialized in taking on the "lost causes" & "head cases" of the local sector Imperial command. Any trooper, specialist or command imperials who are too hard to handle are sent to the Tatooine garrison so as not to interfere with other, more efficient militant posts.

![[Rebel Comms Specialist] Hi All
This figure was commission for a friend of mine who is in the Army, I completed it about two months ago and misplaced the pictures in the wrong folder and only found them today.
My friend sent me one of the SS Rebel figures and asked to have it changed to a comms specialist as that is what he does in the Army.
RECIPE
Body & clothing - The body, head and garters are from Dragon Models, the gloved hands and uniform are from Sideshow Toys. With the helmet I removed the right ear cover and replaced it with a German WW2 head set piece and added wires and a small mouth piece to it.
Equipment - The rifle and comms unit are from Sideshow Toys, I added extra wires and parts from the bits box and also added a thinner rifle sling to the weapon.
The small toolbox, long pouches and pants belt are from Dragon Models. The uniform was given the old boil and wash method to soften the cloths and then slight dry brush of various colours to get the desired look.
Base - the base is](userimages/customs/13500/13147-1.jpg) Rebel Comms Specialist Star Warsby HembleHi All

March 12th 1938, the US Government intercepts a German communique stating that Hitler is looking for clues to a mythological artifact called the Seal of Soloman. And yet again the US Government travels to Barnett Collage to see if Jones will find the Seal of Solomon and find out what it is and does.
Jones tells them that the Legend has it that the Seal of Solomon was a magical signet ring said to have been possessed by King Solomon, which variously gave him the power to command demons, genies,or to speak with animals. Indy also mentions that there are 6 markers that make up a stone tablet that shows the whereabouts of the Seal of Solomon. After hearing this information they ask Jones will he try and find the Seal of Solomon before the Nazis do.
Jones agrees and the next day heads of, March 17th 1938 after reaching an old ruined castle on the borders of France and Germany Jones does a little archeological work and finds a marker that could lead him to the Seal of Solomon.
