The head was cast using household silicone and hot glue. The mold was poured into a box with the head submerged to the ears and left to set. Once the silicone had dried I removed the head (Kenner Terminator) and then filled the mold with Hot Glue. This only gave me a half of that head so the back side is sculpted… not pictured BUT still very nice.
The entire body has been covered in apoxie and textured with celophane <sp*. Uh.. ok Heath Ledger was good and we'll miss him but where is Two Face? So I was messing around and bought a couple TwoFace figures from the basic line and I was surprised to see that the head was really not that far of in scale from the Bruce Wayne head. So what did I deduce? Remove the entire upper torso from the basic 5" figure and rebuild the body around it. With matching jacket and pants this figure came together QUITE nicely minus the destroyed portion of his jacket on the left side of his body. All together the figure wasn't a disappointment and kept me satiated until Mattel finally released their "Sold Out" versions at ToysWe'B' and then I totally forgot I had made this at all.

I was mainly heavy into my early efforts to create the ultimate Christopher Reeve (just click on my Creator name to see #1) but after working with the fabric capes for a minute I kept wanting to do something with the awesome batman figures that were coming out. Up to then there was only DCSH Batman 1 and DCSH Batmans Blue and Black II. so I took Blue II, cut off the cape to a "V" on the backand took a plate and layed it down on a sheet of blue polyester (really heavy) and started to rotary cut these scallops til I had a huge perfectly round "starburst". Then I took a 1/12 slice out of it for the break in the front. Popped it back onto Bats' body and then popped the head/cowl assembly back on and hot-glued it back together and gave a little spatter treatment with black spray-paint. These were the results.

I did this back in '09 when I was SURE that DCU was closing in on the Super Powers line as a basis to build its future waves on.
