![[Indiana Jones] Hi All,
I always wanted to make a Raiders Well of the Souls diorama but in 3-3/4" scale finding snakes that look good and finding a lot of them was my biggest problem so I decided to scale the dio down to a partial Well of Souls as you can see in the pics.
I have to thank inky_skin from the Raiders forum for sending me what snakes he had if he didn't I wouldn't have been able to build this partial dio THANKS BUDDY. Once the figures and dio where done they were painted and weatherd using Vallejo, GW paints and chalk pastels.
RECIPE
1: Figures - Indy and Sallah are both from Hasbro and Sallah is straight from the package, I filled the joints up using plastacine and then covered his main body with soaked tissue paper to hide the joints and to see how tissue paper would look as cloth at this scale and I was more then happy with the results.
Indy like Sallah is from Hasbro, I used KOTCS legs and torso the head is from TOD and the gloves are from the A-Teams Face figure. On](userimages/customs/50500/50052-1.jpg) Indiana Jones Indiana Jonesby HembleHi All,

![[Indiana Jones] Hi All,
I wanted to make a small Indy dio with Indy coming down a rope getting ready to explore an old forgotten temple hidden away for centuries. Once the dio was set up to the desired look it was painted and weathered using Vallejo, GW paints and chalk pastels.
RECIPE
1: Figure - The legs are from the Indy and Horse deluxe set, the torso is from KOTCS Indy the jacket and arms are from the Pitfall Indy and the head is from the TOD Indy.
2: Base - The base I picked up from local hardware store in the craft section, the column is from the 7" Disney Indy figure. The back wall and floor are pieces of foamcore cut to size and then very carefully peeling off one side to reveal the foam underneath.
Once the foam was revealed I started drawing the stones into the foam using a STABILO felt 0.4 pen and then once happy with the look I used a ballpoint pen and started going over the felt pen lines and pushing the ballpoint pen into the foam. The stone effect was done by pres](userimages/customs/50000/49558-1.jpg) Indiana Jones Indiana Jonesby HembleHi All,

I made an Indy out of a GI Joe and posted it here last summer. I can't even look at that figure now.
This figure is done in the style of the vintage Star Wars line that is so well detailed and movie accurate. I took the head from one of those Han Solo figures and attached it to a KOTCS Indy. I lopped it off at the neck to keep the rotation of the head. The mushroom cap joint on Han is much bigger than on the Indy so I figured it would be easier to do it that way. The Harrison Ford likeness on that Han is one of the reasons I wanted to do this custom in the first place.
The other reason is that I always wished the Indy figures had ball jointed legs. I took the hips and upper legs from an A-Team Bradley Cooper that i used for a James Bond custom I wasn't too thrilled with.
Getting the colors right was the hardest part but the most fun. i don't think any Indy figure so fa](userimages/customs/49000/48846-1.jpg) Vintage Style Indiana Jones Indiana Jonesby jpkasunicLike most customizers here, I am never satisfied with my work and am constantly going back and changing things. ![[Indiana Jones | Vintage Collection II] I took another swing at my vintage collection styled Indy if only to be able to work a new head into it. I left the old one untouched but I may revise it to these specs as well.
The new head is a combo of the hatless KOTCS head scalped to fit under the ROTLA hat. It's a tighter for and looks more natural. The KOTCS heads typically had a better sculpt and paint job so I wanted to get the best of both worlds in one head.
All the same we used the Origins Logan figure again with a tighter fit on the arms and replaced the hands with German soldier hands. When I made my 1/6 Shrine of the Sea Devil with Indy in Deep sea diver outfit I always wanted to make this diorama from the comic book cover of the same title.
RECIPE
1: Figure & Octopus Tentacle - Indy legs, torso, head and upper arms are from the TOD figure and the forearms are from KOTCS figure. The figure was repositioned and then the joints superglued and once dry the joints were puttied up.
The bag has had the plastic straps removed and replaced with thin leather strips and the knife was the ROTLA Monkey Man figure which as had the tip reshaped.
The Octopus's Tentacles were made by cutting up a wire coat hanger and shaping them and then air dry clay was used to mold around the wire until I was happy with the thickness.
The suction cups were also made from air drying clay and small ball were made then pressed onto the tentacles and then I used a tooth pick and scribed around each suction cup to get the desired affect.

I've been thinking of doing this vehicle for a long time now and finally decided to do it after watching Raiders on bluray. I decided not to give the vehicle any figures as I wanted to just show of the vehicle itself.
The vehicle and diorama were painted and weathered using Vallejo, GW paints and pastel chalks.
RECIPE
1: Vehicle is from the Hasbro Indiana Jones line and all in all not a bad representation of the movie vehicle. I made a few alterations by cutting the lights and mirrors off and removing the plastic/rubber holdings and adding new ones using plasticard and metal photo etched strips.
The seats and roof were covered with two layer of tissue paper by using diluted PVA glue. The MG34 machine was made by using the end of a Star Wars weapon (sorry can't remember which one) and the barrel of a Sandtrooper MG - 15 Blaster, the ammunition canister I used from a 1/18 German MG42.

The saddle and stirrups are also from the deluxe set and have been repainted, the stirrups have had thins strips of leather added to them.

![[Indana Jones Jungle Ruin] Hi All
When I completed my Tatooine Display for the my 1/6 Sandtroopers I decided I wanted to make a dio for my Hottoys gear I picked up of the net.
The only problem I had was what to make and my 8 yr daughter suggested that I make a jungle ruin dio since I already just did a desert dio.
So with the idea of the jungle dio firmly planted into the old noggin I started to get reference material of the net for old jungle ruins and especially for large tree roots/trunks.
Once I got the reference material I wanted I started work on the dio, the dio once completed was painted and weathered using Vallejo and GW paints and pastel chalks.
RECIPE
1: Indiana Jones - The clothing, shoes, hands and bag are from Hottoys and the holster, belts are from Sideshow. The whip was made using a whip handle from Sideshow's Indy and leather coil strips and model boat string.

Yes, we got him in his ceremonial garb that he wore at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, but everyone wanted him in his white suit you see him in through most of the movie. So here I took a Jazwares A-Team Face figure, repainted the body white and the shirt baby blue. Also repainted the shoes to look like spats, and repainted the hands. ![[Indiana Jones | Ultimate Indy Likeness] So, I had taken this file of Indy figures I bought at a local Wally World. $1 a piece!!! I won't tell you how many I bought… Even I was disappointed in this line but much like my self satisfying salvage of Superman Returns, I saw potential in the parts over the failure of the line.
All the parts were already there they just needed to be assembled correctly. THe Kingdom of the Crystal Skull figures had a GREAT likeness but they all came either without a hat or with a HUGE hat to accommodate the full head fitting. The figures that DID come with fitted hats looked like pitbulls or looked like out hero was being squeezed through a vice… The eyes were all wonky and the head just looked like dook. So I took those heads and scalped the hats right off. Then I took the KOTCS heads and lopped them off right about the eyebrows.
