![[Horror Hombres II: Leatherface - the Living Abatto] Here's a nightmare induced vision of Leatherface. Had watched the original movie as a kid and remembered it to be utterly terrifying. Basically, it was no different from watching a snuff film, with body parts flying everywhere, girls running, screaming, and all that blood. At that young age, it was inconceivable to think that it was fake - and the scariest part was probably seeing the mask he wore and realizing that it was no mask, but the actual face of some guy he had ripped off and sewn back together. Gross but kudos on the sewing skills!
Leatherface has always been seen as a big guy, but this custom version makes him look like some ogre overdosing on bad drugs. Used a ML Maestro for base, replaced the head and sculpted the mask. Got the toy chainsaw at a discount store, during their Hallowe'en bash, and made the butcher apron from butcher's wax paper, repainted. Decided to sweeten the pot and appease ol' Leatherface by catching Erin for him. So I took it upon myself and used McFarlane's Erin from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake and painted her with acrylic paints. The original figure started off with blue bellbottoms, a white top, brown hair and no blood. I corrected most of these issues to bring Marilyn Burns' original "final girl" to life. I did two versions, one with the blood at 3/10 and the other around 7/10. I used a combination of brushes, needles and dried paint to fill in the cracks and get enough variation in the blood smears to make it look like she received them a variety of ways. I mixed most of the paint to give it an off color and give her clothes variations of wear. For the blood, I used several different mixes of red with grey, brown and black for the desired redness or d](userimages/customs/35000/34510-1.jpg) Sally Hardesty |

So, I watched the Horror Big Brother skit on Robot Chicken and applauded thier leatherface. I did what they did and took the head and hands from a Movie maniacs Leatherface and put them on one of those bodys Robot chicken uses (if you know what they are called , who manufatures them or even where I could get some more that would be great) and some clothes I hand sewed from some loose cloth and stuffed to the top to give him a more "chunky" and "monsterous" look. then I just splattered some paint on him and called him good. Now hes is articulated and fearsome as the beast himself.
As always: comments and suggestions are greatly apperciated. Email me if you would like more images.
