![[Judge Dredd] The bases were the body of the Manhunter Robot (with boots from Flash, not mistaken) and head, wrists and uniforn details of Dredd LCBH Toy Biz. All repainted with black and then drybrushing with blue on uniforn and green in boots, gloves and belts. The golden parties were also given a yellow paint and then golden drybrushing over. Guns original Dredd, just keep the knife. The other weapons are arm / weapon of SuperPatriot LCBH and casted gun I did for my Lobo Custom. The baton I made using a piece of plastic that had the ideal format and just sanded the edges, making them rounded and then painted matte black. I remember a series of comic books named Common Grounds. A six-issue comic book limited series created by writer Troy Hickman and published by Top Cow Productions in 2004. The series examined the life of superheroes and villains in and around a chain of coffee shops called Common Grounds. More information on wiki page.
This contest is opportunity to custom an unusual small character. I chose Gabriel "Gabe" Alexander, a.k.a. MENTAL MIDGET saw in first issue, episode titled “Head games”. Powers: Hypnosis and Telepathy.

![[Madman (from "Superman/Madman: Hullabaloo&quo] Another custom spun out of my discovery of some Legendary Comic Book Heroes figures in storage. This one is a repaint of the LCBH Madman variant. I never liked that figure, but got it, because I initially missed the all white classic Madman. After getting that version eventually, I wanted to get rid of the variant version...custom fodder! I recently read the "Superman/Mad: Hullabaloo" crossover and thought that their "mashed up" forms would make GREAT customs, so here's Madman. He's essentially a repaint with some mods (Apoxie Sculpt to fill in he mark on his head and sculpt a curl, as well as to fill the dot on the exclamation point).](userimages/customs/49000/48895-1.jpg) Madman (from "Superman/Madman: Hullabaloo&quo | ![[El Zorro Mignola Style] Epoxy for the sombrero y Half head of other Figure.](userimages/customs/49000/48725-1.jpg) El Zorro Mignola Style |

![[Pitt] A customer wanted a taller Pitt using an Icons Hulk. The face sculpt was influenced by the shape and proportions of Hulk's original head. I added LCBH Stryker's pony tail to the head. I recently used a couple of Pitt bafs for Hulk customs so I had left over accessories and hands. I cut the finger tips off Pitt's original hand, did the same to Hulk's hands, and transfered Pitt's fingertips onto Hulk's hands and sculpted them on. Then I fully re sculpted nails onto the feet. I recently got an air brush machine and this was my second figure i used it on. Then added Pitt's original accessories and modified the wrist chains so they would fit on Hulk's wrists.](userimages/customs/48000/47860-1.jpg) Pitt | ![[Grendel Prime] Another Grendel for a friend. Head: ML Winter Soldier
Body: ML 2 pack Nick Fury
lower legs: Winter soldier
lower arms: SOTA Street Fighter Vega
Hands: LOTR Legolas

I've loved his design ever since I first saw it. So simple and solid. I actually started this guy years ago, but wasn't happy with how he was turning out, so I gave up. Then I revisited him later and it call came together.

In the history of the Witchblade comics, there was a time when another female became the bearer of the weapon aside from Sara Pezzini, a blonde named Danielle Baptiste. So I got the idea to try this.
The head came from DC Superheroes Supergirl. I just swapped it onto the Sara Pezzini Witchblade body and repainted the face and hair.
The last picture represents the two bearers of the Witchblade, Sara and Danielle together.](userimages/customs/47000/46975-1.jpg) Witchblade Danielle Baptiste |
![[Judge Dredd] I started this back when all the Legendary Comic Heroes figures came out. The Judge Dredd in that line was small and thin. So I made him bigger, more muscular.
The head, shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads, belt, badge with zipper, collar, boots and forearms are from the Judge Dredd figure. The torso, upper arms, hips and thighs are from LCBH Wrarrl.
I didn't use any paint at all on this. I just cut and glued all parts together. In the last picture, I included the original Judge Dredd so you can see how much larger my custom Dredd is in comparison.](userimages/customs/47000/46974-1.jpg) Judge Dredd | ![[Fantomas] Fantomas is a comic strip character created in Mexico in 1966 from the French original, 1911 by Allan and Souvestre but with its own characteristics. ![[Grendel - Hunter Rose] It's master criminal Grendel a.k.a. Hunter Rose! This was actually a really easy and really satisfying custom to do. His main body and head is the ROML Big Time Spiderman with forearms and lower legs of Quiksilver. The articulation of this figure is amazing with absolutely no paint rub possible except on the neck joint which so far hasn't been a problem. Obviously I pretty much just painted the base black. I also put a little scuplt around his shirt collar to give that good depth and sculpted the upper and lower portions of his eyes. The bandana is from Psylocke's sash. His staff was the hardest part because I couldn't find a good base for it until I was cleaning out my closet and my wonderful girlfriend pointed out a flag from a Mcfarlane figure. A little sanding, some paint, and two large bobby pins later I was all set. I really love how this simple custom turned out. Let me know what you think! I love me some comments!
P.S. His staff blades are longer than they look in the picture.](userimages/customs/46500/46292-1.jpg) Grendel - Hunter Rose | ![[Evil Ernie - Ernest Fairchild] Meet Evil Ernest Fairchild the super-murderer and his only friend Smiley the psychotic button. His goal? Megadeath - I.E. the death of every person on the planet. Why? For love. Evil Ernie is an awesome character from Chaos Comics that has now been picked up by Image. I used Marvel's Zombie as the base here because it really seemed to capture his basic look. I added the legs and boney-forearms of the Ghost Rider movie Caretaker figure with the hands and head of Judge death for that wicked signature smile of his. His hair came from the original Moore Ernie. A little sculpt gave him a nose, his buddy Smiley, and his arcane energy at his stomach. I chose to do the energy like I did b/c I didn't feel he'd be sturdy enough to take him done to just bones and this way he retains full articulation. He was a frustrating blast to make. Lol.
P.S. The entrails came from some Mcfarlane toys.](userimages/customs/46500/46288-1.jpg) Evil Ernie - Ernest Fairchild |
![[Grendel - Hunter Rose] I have never read a single Grendel comic, but in my opinion he is one of the coolest characters in comics. His look is strikingly simple, but iconic. So I had to add him to the shelf...SO...my ROML Punisher came with 2 right feet...friggin hasbro...anyway, I hacked off the lower legs and replaced them with sanded down XMC Gambit lower legs, I then wrapped them in plumbers tape and painted em up...Then I used a DCU Captain Buthead or something like that for the arms, painted them up real good too. Then I found an old Spiderman head and added the scarf from said Capt Buthole fot the ties...I made his staff from fodder and hair pins and then painted it as well. Just a killing some time while I was snowed in yesterday. Thanks for looking!

He had a one shot in 92, then a short lived series in 93. After Marvel bought Malibu in the mid 90s, he hasn't been seen since. Save for the few X-Men/Protectors crossovers they did. I couldn't find really anything on this guy as I searched for him. But, I figured if I was actually going to make Badger this week, the Ferret was the perfect choice to accompany him. lol He's a pretty volatile character, but as far as I know, his only real power in enhanced strength.](userimages/customs/45000/44686-1.jpg) The Ferret |
![[Badger] So, this guy started in Capital Comics and was written as a spoof of superheroes. He was a martial artist who could talk to animals, at that. He went on to First Comics after Capital shut down, then later ended up in Dark Horse. Then, Image, and ten years after that, in 2007, he reappeared in IDW. Whew. He actually hasn't been seen since then, which is surprising considering I understand him to have a pretty good cult following. Overall, he was a straight repaint. The only issue was the emblem. Only time I ever wished I used decals. About a dozen tries and it's still not perfect. But, it certainly is closer than it was any other time. Aside from that, I'm really happy with how he came out.](userimages/customs/45000/44685-1.jpg) Badger | ![[Kit Walker - the Phantom] Here's day 2 of my recent creations. It's The Ghost That Walks! The Phantom was a gift for my girlfriend. She wanted me to make her something so I made one of her favorite characters. I tried to do an updated modern feel while keeping a foot in the classic world.
