![[NECA Jason Voorhees Forest Floor Base] Howdy howdy howdy!
I got the NECA "Final chapter" BD Jason (Can't recommend it enough; fabulous figure) and was left a little disappointed he didn't come with a base. I know we all used to dismiss the bases, but now I've grown to like them, and I felt he could really use one. So, I started work on my first diorama, which has been a dream of mine for a few years now. I figured I wouldn't overreach and settled on a forest floor.
I bought a dio kit for miniatures, and just scaled it up; one of those super useful little kits from Michael's crafts. I used spray adhesive to adhere to sandpaper-like surface to a blank wood canvas, and a combination of spray adhesive/super glue/hot glue to create the details of the terrain. I made the sign from a printout and some foam. the sticks are...well, sticks.
Not everything can be fancy
It's still got plenty left to do, but I was pleased with my progress so far, and wanted to share. It's getting a background wall, borders and some more](userimages/customs/49500/49198-1.jpg) NECA Jason Voorhees Forest Floor Base Movie Maniacsby mikekindHowdy howdy howdy!

I couldn't decide which head to go with so I made them interchangeable. I took a Magneto figure from the X-men movie because of the lever on the back. I took off his head and hands then I placed a magnet at the top so I could switch heads. I sculpted the heads from scratch, one mask on, one off. I then sculpted the gloved hands. I decided to make the most of Magneto's back lever. When you pull it down Frank tosses his pipe bombs or bashes a skull in with the wrench. All three accessories were also hand sculpted from scratch. ![[Leatherface (Restoration and Repaint)] one of the reasons why i love horror movies and figures is because when i was a kid (around 6 years old maybe) i used to play with 3 figures from an older relative of mine (sadly that was only when i went to his house) i didn't knew anything about the characters but their appearance was incredible, so i was really surprised one day (still as a kid) near Halloween when i saw a movie on tv and one of the characters was there, he was named Jason Vorhees and the movie was Friday the 13th part 3, that's when my love for the genre was born.
The other two figures? leatherface and Freddy Krueger, all of the three where McFarlane figures, and because of that is that i was always (and still) looking for them when i buy any figure.
So i got my hands on leatherface, and even when i prefer other figures that i think have a better representation of the character (i'm looking at you mezco) i like this one mainly because of what i wrote above, sadly, the one i got wasn't the bloody version, which w](userimages/customs/43500/43302-1.jpg) Leatherface (Restoration and Repaint) Movie Maniacsby Mr.?one of the reasons why i love horror movies and figures is because when i was a kid (around 6 years old maybe) i used to play with 3 figures from an o...3 comments | ![[Batman from the Dark Knight] This one I’m not really that satisfied with. ![[Alien Prometheus: the Deacon] Every so often, a movie will come out and ignite the imagination, transporting the willing viewer to another world, another reality. The main objective of the movie is no doubt for entertainment purposes, but that doesn't mean a person can't walk out of the theatre and be inspired by the ideas and visuals.
Coined by the director Ridley Scott as the Deacon, this proto-Xenomorph was revealed as the creature that burst from the Engineer's chest. It gets this name, as its head is shaped like a bishop's mitre.
Re-sculpted a McFarlane Dog Alien head with extended jaws from a Beta Ray Bill. Used Abe Sapien's skinny upper torso, re-sculpted the ribs, and replaced the arms/legs from a Hasbro Alien Warrior.
The movie also introduced a new species known as a Hammerpede, which basically was a worm indigenous to the alien planet that got infected by the black oil substance found in those containers. ![[V] Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Lisbeth Salander was once a victim herself, but decided to regain full control of her life by assisting in the investigation and capture of a mysterious, sadistic killer.
Made from a Tomb Raider Lara Croft, the figure was resculpted to show how Lisbeth looked during her court scene. Being tried for the attempted murder of her own father, she appeared in court fully mohawked and punked out in spikes, straps and ready to bite into those who would have her incarcerated. Sculpted her spiked collar and made her back suspenders removable to show the painted tattoo.

![[Horror Hombres II: Frank Booth - Blue Velvet] Frank Booth has to be the single most, horrifying villain in cinematic history. There is no one else as psychotic, morbid and terrifying as him. Part of the reason he's such a frightening character is because he's so ordinary in appearance and yet vividly realistic in his portrayal of graphic, psycho violence. He could be the guy sitting beside you at a nightclub, or have the misfortune of meeting in the hallway of your building. This is one guy you certainly wouldn't want as a neighbor.
Throughout the film, Frank uses a medical mask and tube to inhale some kind of stimulant from an aerosol canister. The identity of this gas, at the time, was a subject of controversy. David Lynch, the director, specified helium, to raise Frank's voice and have it sound like a child during his irate tantrums. His father came home and tried to fight his way thru the fire, but the door was jammed. He used a hatchet to break the door, meanwhile Victor happened to be behind the door and the hatchet caught him in the face, killing him instantly. Or so we thought. As the years passed, the swamp where Victor lived still echoed his eerie call and there have been numerous sightings of him decapitating tourists, dismembering hikers, and face breaking a few nice old ladies. Of course the sightings have been limited to the victims themselves seeing each other getting well, y'know, sorted out. I often wondered what it would be like if Neca/McFarlane made The Dark Knight figures instead of the undersized Movie Masters line that Mattel gave us. Since most of my collection is from Neca/McFarlane/DC Direct and The Dark Knight is one of my favorite films, I had to make a custom of what I consider to be the best movie villain since Hannibal Lecter in a similar scale.
After two failed attempts (the first plain sucks, while the second needs some revisions), I’m finally satisfied enough with what I’ve done to show the folks of figurerealm =D. I’m just a beginner, so please be kind.

This movie took the formula from Friday the 13th (released one year after F-13th) and perfected it into the ideal summer camp slasher movie - y'know with your typical oversexed teenagers getting their heads clipped by an iconic killer! Before turning homicidal, Cropsy was just a mean old drunk caretaker at a summer camp. One night, some of the camp counselors decided to get even with Cropsy, and prank him with a flaming skull. Rather than getting their desired frightening yet harmless result, they accidentally cause an enormous fire, engulfing Cropsy’s cabin, leaving him badly burned and presumed dead. Cropsy survives of course and makes his return from the hospital as a hideously deformed madman wielding a razor sharp pair of hedge-clippers.
