![[Dr.Talisac] i wanted this figure since i was a kid, but it was really hard to find here in my country, so you wouldn't believe how happy i was when i found it on the Internet, it was cheap, new, and the 12" size!.... but then, when it was in my hands i realized that the paint job wasn't so great. so i decided to try a new one.
the original skin color was very dark, and i didn't like it cause i always saw the pictures of the figure (obviously the pictures in McFarlane site)and the skin color on them was pale, also there where some differences on the detail of the painting job, so i aimed to get those original details on my figure.
first of all, even before deciding i would paint the figure, i changed the hooks from is face using pins instead. the hooks that came with the figure where too big and didn't fit in the holes also they didn't looked so real.
And then i started the work, first i masked the mongroid and then the tubes, i cut two of them, a red one and one of the small black tubes, t](userimages/customs/33000/32727-1.jpg) Dr.Talisac Tortured Soulsby Mr.?i wanted this figure since i was a kid, but it was really hard to find here in my country, so you wouldn't believe how happy i was when i found it on ...9 comments | ![[Camille Noire] Really loved the decadence this figure had in its design, with its blatant display of torture and mutilation. The sculpt work had exceptional realism, and even though McFarlane figures are notorious for lack of articulation, it made up for it with wicked detailing. Wanted to add to the look by giving the figure black hair (rabbit fur) fashioned like a tribal headpiece, and the lower portion (bonafide blonde hair contributed by the lovely VM) provided a softer edge to the whole look. The two pieces of hair together offset the ultra-rigid tension in the figure and the colors denote a sense of yin-yang at play - just like in the symbol. The wounds have been detailed darker red, and gloss nail polish was brushed overtop the outstretched skin, to bring out the sweat and tears.
