He is very flexible, fast, and powerful that makes me adore him a lot, despite of his weird thong. Always appears misteriously from the shadow, he can transform into a space ship and a submarine when it is required. He firstly appeared on Tatsunoko's fighting game on Playstation, then returned in Tatsunoko vs Capcom fighting game series on Nintendo Wii. Made him totally from marvel legends human torch Walmart Exclusive, the helmet that can be taken off from his head was made from marvel legends professor X's cerebro helmet, sculpted and filled with blue mica plastic for its goggle. His wing was made from foam art paper, it is so elastic that you can even bend it flexibly. Fei Long from sota toys street fighter represents his expression very well, so i decided to use him. I have to be honest, I don't know much about this character, but he seemed fairly straight forward to make when I started; I was half right...here's the build:
Head: Sota Ryu, helmet from LCBH Wraal w/sculpt and fodder; cut and re-pegged at the neck
Body: DC Green Lantern, sanded down suit lines, 'wing cape' made from binder plastic
Hands: Sota Dhalsim
The main reason I chose Green Lantern as a base was, when I compared the figure to the reference pics, all of the linework for the suit except those around the upper body matched up perfectly to Ippatsuman's suit; of course the physique matched too. The part that threw me was the paint app; very deceptive as I thought it would be a piece of cake but ended up being one of the most challenging if attempted, and I'm a pretty poor painter, so it was even tougher for me. That being said, I did my](userimages/customs/21500/21330-1.jpg) Ippatsuman Tatsunoko vs. Capcomby RenmauzoIt's been a while since I did a Tatsunoko vs Capcom figure, and this one has been on the desk for months, so I figured I'd make no.59 Ippatsuman. I used a DC Green Lantern this time, macross cockpits for the boosters, and an R-Type stand for the "V" on the helmet. The rest was done in the same way, but I tried to make the paint even cleaner this time out. As for Friender, I used a Transformers Cheetor as a base, used macross pieces for the ears and head piece, sanded and epoxied the rest like the spikes and the muzzle. A pretty comprehensive paint job later, and there we have it, the robot hunting duo in all their glory! Hope you all like, and see you all again soon!

I've got a second version of him on the way with a bit of a different recipe, but this one is as follows: I started with a DC Avalanche base, swapped the head out for a Sota Fei Long head, and grabbed the helmet from a Battlestar Galactica figure which I modded with fodder and epoxie. I'm not sure where the thrusters came from, but probably from a Macross plane, and pegged them in at the hip. The triangle collar is all epoxie, and the linework on the suit is all freehand. After some primer and paint, we have Casshern, who is my favorite Tatsunoko character and awesome in Capcom's crossover game. Hope you all like him as much as I do, and I will have more for all of you soon! Ciao for now!

I love this figure even though it is my quickest work to date and is my personal fave and what I believe to be my personal best!
I used the lower body of a Sota Guile and the upper body of a LCBH Savage Dragon. the head was replaced with one from a Neca SF4 Ryu with some epoxie work on the hair and some wire ribbon for the head band. The ponytail is actually cut from the flaming hand of a HB2 Liz Sherman and pegged. As for the overalls, I cut 2 pieces of outfit from a Sota Gen, (need him for something else anyway) affixed them to the waist, added epoxie buttons, and cut up an elastic band for straping, while the glove cuffs where made out of epoxie. After a thorough paint job, we have one Alex that I am really proud of to pioneer my TvsC collection. Let me know what you all think, and I will have more for everyone soon!
Cheers!
