This is basically my concept for Inhumanoids Earth Corps. Being one of my favorite tv shows when I was a kid and not having any of these toys, I decided to make my own.
Liquidator: Mask from some G.I Joe/MARS Cobra trooper. His left arm is part of the Deep dive armor weapon.
Derek: Magna Guard Head, Custom Made claws from a plastic bottle.
Auger: Crimson Dynamo head with screw tips attached. Arm from a motor dynamo.
Herc: Modified Titanium man head. Grappling from a GI Joe weapon.
All tubing came from electrical wiring and extra detail sculpted.
I decided to go for a gritty paint application using air brush and dry brushing.
Hope you guys like it!!!](userimages/customs/29000/28903-1.jpg) Inhumanoids Earth Corps Inhumanoidsby MetalAlchemistHope these guys qualify.

He led his warriors alongside the Granite Mutores, managing to trap the Inhumanoids.
I always liked the design of the Redwoods on the box art and Inhumanoids cartoon but the 80's toy was a real let down. I wanted my updated Redlen to look just like the box art I was captivated by as a kid, so using it as a guide, I built this "staction" from scratch, starting with a tin foil armature and sculpting everything else with sculpty. To make sure he still qualified as a custom, I took the green ligh piping eyes from an 80's Granite toy and sculpted Redlen's head around it. Look for more pics in the forum thread.
If I can score the right base figure, I'm going to do an updated Granok of the Granites too.](userimages/customs/21500/21075-1.jpg) Inhumanoids Redlen |
![[Inhumanoids Tendril] I finally finished tendril and now have all the major inhumanoids monsters, updated in a millenial style. Tendril was made from a 12" rotocast hulk's upper body, a 12" jakk's wrestler from from the waist down, a tail from the fff baf and arms from a vintage tendril. The whole body was sculpted head to toe. When he was complete I felt like something was missing, like he needed more edge - so I added spines on his back, shoulders and head to give him a cactus vibe. The spines look vicious but are completely flexible and soft to the touch so they they won't snap off or poke an eye out. I'm really proud of this set because I'm pretty sure I'm the only customizer on the planet to tackle these characters. They really brought out the 12 year old kid in me. Hasbro, whenever you are ready to reboot this figure line, call me up. D-compose is lord of the undead and can turn his victims into mutated, corpse-like pawns with a single touch or trap foes inside his exposed "rib cage". Back in the day when this cartoon was airing, kids really freaked out over him because of his creepy powers. For the update, i wanted to loose the childish colors and really amp the horror vibe with lots of exposed muscle and random boney spikes pushing through his rotting flesh. I'm a big fan of zombie movies so this was fun to do. - body from icons venom
- head is actually a hand from a snakemen skeletor with venom's teeth incorporated
- feet and spikes from resident evil william
- open wounds/exposed muscle created with sculpty
- rib cage created with sculpty (they open and close with hinges a made from scratch)
- exposed spine created by making a mold of the vintage figure's spine and modifying the cast
- hand painted with acrylics

![[Metlar - Inhumanoids] I bought the set of earth corps figures that boskoes made a while back and they are so impressive they made my original inhumanoids villains look like chubby little kids. On the real, the corps figs are so pretty they make me weep. I knew deep down, i wouldn't be happy until i had updated versions of metlar, d-compose and tendril to balance things out. First up - metlar, leader of the inhumanoids. A metallic monstrosity whose keen intellect is matched only by his brute strength and insatiable appetite for the destruction of all surface dwelling flesh slugs. Recipe was pretty simple:
- chest and arms from icons hulk
- abs and legs from rotocast movie hulk
- hands, feet, shoulder and knee spikes from an original metlar
- head and armored hide were sculpted from scratch with sculpty
- hand painted with acrylics
next up in inhumanoids unbound: i have a good start on d-compose and hope to have him complete in a week or so. Note: the earth corps figs featured below were created by boskoes.](userimages/customs/11500/11075-1.jpg) Metlar - Inhumanoids | |
