The idea is that a fish ate a micronaut, got canned, and the can of fish mutated over time. Legs are from a wrestling figure, lights and battery pack are custommed up bits from a pound shop, and a lot of the construct is from a KO meccano set. The head is made from tape, card, and putty.
The head is hinged and the internal decals are from printed out game textures.
I used tamiya paints for the first time. Like 'em!](userimages/customs/37000/36505-1.jpg) Micronauts Dovosatron Micronautsby jumbokaggraI'm a bit obsessed with gritty 70s sci-fi, sea monsters, mechs, metal figures and micronauts, so i made this.

It's a pretty simple custom and the bulk of the illusion is in the paint job. I cut the hands off of the four limbs that sprout out of his back and updated the look of the vintage figure's weapons with fodder bin stuff while still trying to maintain the "feel" of the original. I also drilled out the back of his head and used chewing gum, mod podge, and glow in the dark paint to re-create the glowing, exposed brain that the aliens of the original line had. I always thought it was strange that the aliens and mutants of the Micronauts had exposed brains, but it was such a cool feature that I could overlook the obvious flaw in the concept of the design! Anyway, thanks for looking, hope you enjoy the custom.](userimages/customs/27500/27136-1.jpg) Antron Micronautsby hussapocalypseAfter scouting vintage Antrons online and finding them to be too expensive, I decided to make my own using a Skeleton Warriors Aracula that I had layi...2 comments | ![[Baron Karza] He's tangled with the X-men, slugged it out with the New Mutants, gone toe to toe with Nick Fury, and wears a suit of cybernetic armor. No, it's not Dr Doom....it's Baron Karza! This body-stealing tyrant hails from the Microverse and has caused all sorts of trouble in the Marvel Universe. His head is a Trigate Creations custom cast, main body of a Superhero Showdown Colossus, lower legs from a M.A.R.S. mech, and various armor fodder. His Andromeda centaur form was created using a Master Gundam Horse body and fodder parts so his upper torso can pop off and attach to it. Add some cool details like a bendy whip tail made from a Creech hair tendril, some spikes/plugs from Koto's Modeling Support Goods, and he was ready to do battle!](userimages/customs/20500/20401-1.jpg) Baron Karza Micronautsby Jin SaotomeHe's tangled with the X-men, slugged it out with the New Mutants, gone toe to toe with Nick Fury, and wears a suit of cybernetic armor. His head came from a 25th anniv Cobra Viper, body from an I'm2 Comic Series Crimson Dynamo, lower legs/arms from a Marvel Universe Ultron, and ear fins coming from RoC General Hawk's jetpack. I created his large flight pack from an X-men Air Strike Wolverine's backpack fans, some fodder, and Storm Shadow's blade-backpack-thing. When it was all said and done Acroyear was given a classic but detailed paint job and finished!](userimages/customs/20500/20400-1.jpg) Acroyear Micronautsby Jin SaotomePrince Acroyear of Spartak joins the Microverse this week, created to resemble his original comic appearance. This custom was based on the illustration by Guido Guidi (famous for his Transformers drawings), with his heavy artillery version of the Baron.
Chose a Batman Animated for the base, used a Spawn Black Knight mask, and also replaced with Spawn fists. The boots were from a Patlabor mecha, and collected the spikes from various weapons, Spawn accessories and even used the tips of knitting needles. Apoxie sculpt was used to reinforce the base of each spike, resculpted the head, arms/legs, and the weapons. The gatling gun was put together using several Bionicle pieces and was designed to be removable.
Found the red chest piece modified from a bicycle light reflector. For the eyes, used some red tint (from a pair of ski goggles), put them inside the mask to make the eyes appear continually powered on. LED lights would also work, but it's always a bummer to replace batteries (also adds unneces](userimages/customs/19500/19241-1.jpg) Baron Karza Micronautsby N TTTook the liberty of changing around some parts and rearranged some modifications on this Micronaught.
