![[A.W.E. Striker Desert Tiger Force] What we have here is a custom desert tiger force AWE Striker 2 wheel drive custom RC. Full function Radio control, with independent suspension Mikey Thompson Baja tires. I also included some baja style front head lights. It took me a couple of tries to get this one right. The biggest challenge was to find a chassis that fits the low profile of the AWE Striker, got lucky and found one. This one is the bigger brother of a smaller vehicle I created (Squinny Rat) for the G.I. Joe's. It is built with 2.4 Ghz receiver and transmitter. The box was weathered up and I printed out some nifty caution stripes/danger signs to detail them with. The Cobra Crusher was made from a Marvel Universe Silver Surfer, 3" Wreck it Ralph Hero's Duty hands/feet, sculpted breather/waist covering, with an iron man 2 Hydra good harness and Bane's punch-armor from the Quick-Tek unit modded to fit. Painted, dry brushed, washed and sealed.
Hey, gang! It's been awhile!
When I was a kid I saw her on the Dic version of G.I. Joe I thought, "Great! Now they'll finally make a Lady Jaye," me not knowing they already made one years ago. Alas, the light blue - outfitted one was never made, so I took it upon myself to make her with an updated 30th touch. I even included one of those giant missle launchers they started selling with them during that time. ![[Caped Crusader] For this guy I used a Snake Eyes figure my wife got for me for Christmas and a few of the Dark Knight Rises figures a friend gave me, you know the ones that don't have much articulation. I cut off the shoulder pads, wrist guards, neck brace, belt, cape, head, everything. Then I dremeled down the pieces to fit, I was going for a 'Year One' feel, when Batman doesn't have everything figured out just yet, or have a fancy suit with a lot of toys. Instead he's got a knife, a rope, and a grapple hook. I finished him off with a paint job and made the base, using parts from one of the packages. I named him the Caped Crusader to go with the whole 'Year One' theme. Anyway, I plan on making a version of Batman, so be on the look out for that. For those of you not familiar, Old Snake was an incarnation of G.I Joe's Cobra Commander as he appeared on an Episode of the original Transformers animated series. the Episode titled "Only Human". The episode was meant to be the beginning of a crossover series between both shows, but it fell through.
Old Snake here was made using the body of Rise of Cobra Destro, Indiana Jones Sallah's Skirt, Star Wars Clone Wars Cad Bane's hat, and Rise of Cobra Charbroil's head.

It took a while to get around to but once I got started it came along nicely. Im exceptionally proud of it because it is my first major foray into sculpting with sculpey on a figure. Needless to say I am quite pleased with how it worked out.
The Recipe is as follows:
Head: 25th Ann. Cobra Disguise Flint w/ beret cut off (Used this as a base to keep the sculpey sculpt in scale with the rest)
Torso/ Arms: 25th Ann. Grunt (Heavily Sculpted and sanded to match up)
Hands: MU Phoenix and War Machine
Legs/ Feet: 25th Ann. Black 5 pk. Cobra Commander ( These were mounted on in reverse to mimic the look of later Xenomorphs in the Alien Universe. I wanted to have the more feral and animalistic aspect. These were then heavily sculpted)
I hope you enjoy.](userimages/customs/42500/42338-1.jpg) Alien Xenomorph |
![[Dial Tone (25th Anniversary Style)] Dial Tone was a figure that was released as a G.I. Joe Club exclusive figure a couple of years back, but most fans missed out on it, and now it goes for far too much in the secondary market. Here, I’ve recreated that Dial Tone figure exactly. Thanks to a client of mine for figuring out what parts the club used to make the Dial Tone figure in the first place. He’s made from the upper & lower torso, and upper arms from Leatherneck, the lower arms, and the hands and legs from Rollbar. The head, backpack, and gun are resin casts from Broken Arrow Toys. So after having all my pieces, I just had to look at reference to get all the right colors down. I had to hand mix the pigments myself to get the right shades of yellowish-tan, and the bluish green you see on his uniform. All the correct detailing was added to him as well, and his head is fully painted. I wanted to give his gun and backpack realistic weathering, so I painted them with gun metal, dry brushed some mithril silve](userimages/customs/42500/42272-1.jpg) Dial Tone (25th Anniversary Style) | ![[Repeater] One of my favorite more obscure Joe characters. I modded the night vision goggles to light up using 2 white SMD LEDs and some fiber optic line. The switch for the goggles is located on the right leg hidden in the pocket. The batteries are located in the lower torso and they are replaceable!
Also modded the backpack to have lights and sounds too! Two red SMD LEDs are in the gun barrels, with a micro speaker in the backpack along with the button and the batteries, which are also replaceable.
The backpack can be used with any Joe (or 3 3/4 figure) that has a peg hole in the back. Simply pop off his hands and slide off the forearm armor and put on any figure you wish!
Painted with Testors Mode Masters Acryls, given a more realistic, but still 'toonish color scheme.
I will eventually do another using the clear phasing variant, should be a blast!
There is also a short video demo/eview of the Wraith on YouTube, well worth checking out. Simply enter:

For those who may not know who he is, or barely remember the guy, you might remember a huge, over the top, live-action G.I.Joe toy commercial hyping the mail away offer to receive the figure.
Super Trooper was always a guilty favorite and I've always wanted to create a custom figure based on the character.
He's composed of many different parts from different 25th Anniversary figures:
25th Breaker (RAM Cycle) - (Head)
25th Greenshirt - (Torso and Legs)
25th Dr. Mindbender - (upper arms and belt)
25th Cobra Flint - (forearms)
25th Viper- (5 pack Chrome faced)

![[Sgt. Slaughter (Iraqi Sympathizer )] This figure represents one of the most controversial heel turns (becoming a bad guy) in pro-wrestling history!
As a young WWF fan, I always wanted a figure of this version of Slaughter, one to put with Cobra. My own personal story was that Sarge was acting as a double-agent to get close to gather intel on Cobra's dealings in the Middle East...yeah...
This version of Sarge started off as leftovers from two Bench Press figures that were used to make...a ROC Sarge custom, modded a bit with Apoxy Sculpt to turn Bench's jersey into a button up shirt with pocket, medals, flag, etc. The head is custom cast from a BNB Sarge, and he's wearing a Maurauder's beret. Sorry guys, I purposely left off the Iron Sheik boots he had with the curled up/pointy toes...I thought he looked like a tool with those, even back then.
In the mini dio pic, Sarge is being interviewed by my custom Hector Ramirez and facing off with my custom "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.](userimages/customs/36500/36026-1.jpg) Sgt.
