![[The Bi-Beast] Here’s an addition to the showcase of customs with so-called “Alienated Anatomy”.
The Bi-Beast was constructed by a race of ancient aliens and left on Earth. It has unique anatomical features: 2 toes on each foot, 3 fingers on each hand, and 2 heads/brains.
Recipe:
It’s a repainted Lucifer base with other alien figure parts incorporated from head to toe.
Head (top) – Despero
Toes & Hands – Validus

In the history of the Witchblade comics, there was a time when another female became the bearer of the weapon aside from Sara Pezzini, a blonde named Danielle Baptiste. So I got the idea to try this.
The head came from DC Superheroes Supergirl. I just swapped it onto the Sara Pezzini Witchblade body and repainted the face and hair.
The last picture represents the two bearers of the Witchblade, Sara and Danielle together.](userimages/customs/47000/46975-1.jpg) Witchblade Danielle Baptiste |
![[Judge Dredd] I started this back when all the Legendary Comic Heroes figures came out. The Judge Dredd in that line was small and thin. So I made him bigger, more muscular.
The head, shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads, belt, badge with zipper, collar, boots and forearms are from the Judge Dredd figure. The torso, upper arms, hips and thighs are from LCBH Wrarrl.
I didn't use any paint at all on this. I just cut and glued all parts together. In the last picture, I included the original Judge Dredd so you can see how much larger my custom Dredd is in comparison.](userimages/customs/47000/46974-1.jpg) Judge Dredd | ![[Jackie Estacado (the Darkness)] Jackie Estacado is a mafia hitman who wields the power of the Darkness. This power allows him to summon demons and create a mystical armor and weapons to ravage any opponent.
The body is a Mattel Clark Kent. The head is from DCU Kamandi. Guns are from ML Punisher. I repainted the suit, hair and eyebrows black. I also put him next to the armored form of the Darkness figure from the Legendary Heroes line.
I made this for my cousin who had the idea for this since he enjoys the Darkness comics and video games. ![[Logan (Wolverine)] This is Logan/Wolverine the Canadian badass. When he’s not in X-men uniform, this would be his look when he’s in a bar room brawl, streetfight, or outdoors tracking his prey.
Base figure is DCU Starman, jacket was painted black and inside shirt painted grey. Logan’s head came from variant head of the ML Weapon X figure. Fists are from Mattel Public Enemies Superman. The claws came from the Ultimate Sabretooth.
Since this is my first Wolverine custom, thought I’d include a photo that is kind of reminiscent of his first appearance with the Hulk and Wendigo.](userimages/customs/46500/46084-1.jpg) Logan (Wolverine) | ![[Snake Eyes] Here is the GiJoe commando who was trained by the Arashikage ninja clan, code name: Snake Eyes. Aside from firearms, his other weapon of choice is often a katana.
I used a Spider-man 3 movie New Goblin. I like how well articulated the figure is for his martial arts style fighting positions. It also already had a built in sword holder at the back. And it's the same height as the ML Hand ninjas. I sculpted over the hair, repainted green parts to black, and added an Arashikage clan symbol sticker to the sword.
Thanks a lot to my friend J.T. for the katana which came from his fodder box. He couldn't remember exactly where it's from but thought it might be from an old TMNT figure. ![[Blade] For the "Way of the Blade" contest, I thought a good entry would be a character who goes by the very name "Blade". He's definitely made a name for himself by slashing heads off of bloodsuckers.
I didn't have a vampire figure to display next to him so instead I used Marvel Legends. He's standing next to a Hasbro Punisher and a Toybiz Ghost Rider to show size comparison. He fits well with them, ready to take on evil creatures of the night.
The body is a TNA Sting figure, simply repainted a few white parts to black. His head is from Sota Balrog with painted tooth. Shades are from WWE The Rock. The vest was the ML Winter Soldier's painted black. Marvel Select brown costume Wolverine's base accessory provided the sword.](userimages/customs/46000/45650-1.jpg) Blade | ![[Ram Man 200X] Ram Man, the human battering ram, was the big man of the Masters of the Universe in the 200X animated series. Mattel's Ram Man figure had a spring loaded action feature, but was shorter in height than the other MOTU figures. But, in the 200X show he was actually much bigger.
I removed the short legs with springs and replaced them with longer ones from ML Abomination but kept the boots on the new legs. Now the figure stands taller than the other characters (except Mekaneck). It also has added articulation to do walking or running poses (vs Whiplash).
I thought about entering this into the Power of Grayskull custom contest but decided on different ones to enter instead. There have already been many great Ram Man customs on figurerealm. Thanks for looking!](userimages/customs/43500/43401-1.jpg) Ram Man 200X |
![[Evil-Lyn Reimagined] Evil-Lyn, the evil witch of Eternia, had many different looks and incarnations. There's a classic figure with yellow complexion, a unique live action movie version, and pale skinned Filmation and 200X animated designs. I thought I'd try a new take again, one that wouldn't be exactly like any that had come before for this iconic villainess.
Here is Evil-Lyn re imagined. Imagine Skeletor's resident wicked witch with long creepy fingers as she casts her dark magic spells. She's been redesigned with a "Dragon Lady" style dress and headdress. The original base figure's long hair was cut. It's a repainted Dark Alliance Jade.](userimages/customs/43500/43192-1.jpg) Evil-Lyn Reimagined | ![[Fisto] Fisto may be known as a heroic hand-to-hand fighter, but he also carries a big sword to go with his really big fist (200X style). He’s the brother of Man-At-Arms and stands ready to fight alongside He-Man and the other Masters to battle the evil forces of Skeletor.
Mattel made this MOTU Classics Fisto with an alternate head, belt, and sword in order to switch between the classic form or 200X inspired outfit. However, it had no alternate fist, so I decided to remove the fist from the 200X “Battle Fist” figure and transplanted it onto this one.](userimages/customs/43500/43132-1.jpg) Fisto |
![[Zodak (Unmasked)] Zodak is the Mystic Enforcer of the ancient Elders. He defends Eternia from the Snake Men and King Hiss, who killed his brother. He is master of many fighting techniques (like an Eternian version of a Shaolin monk), and is determined to avenge his brother’s death.
I used a Jakks WWE Bobby Lashley head and painted the eyes white as Zodak was often shown without his helmet in 200X series. I chose this head because of the intense and enraged facial expression it had as if he was doing a war cry or a triumphant shout of victory.](userimages/customs/43500/43131-1.jpg) Zodak (Unmasked) | ![[Bane (Movie Inspired)] Here's the masked man who broke the Batman and threatened to nuke Gotham City in the Dark Knight Rises movie.
He was played well by Tom Hardy. But this version shows how Bane would've looked if they had cast a taller 7 foot tall actor (like Nathan Jones).
It's just a head switch of a Mattel Movie Masters Bane figure with Neca Duke Nukem. Not a lot of painting, only on the shirt and gloves. If you've seen my other customs, you know I like to come up with simple ones like this that still achieve the desired effect without adding too much.
Thanks to kumajinno0 for making a Bane from this base figure before, so I got the idea to try this.](userimages/customs/41500/41374-1.jpg) Bane (Movie Inspired) |
![[Punisher (Movie Inspired)] Just like the Hulk, the Punisher was in 3 movies with 3 different actors. I wanted to make a Punisher based on how he looked in the movies.
This is a Neca Chris Redfield, just repainted it and added an extra gun from a Toysrus soldier. He fits well with Marvel Select figures. I took a picture with MS Moon Knight and Daredevil.
I also included images from the different Punisher films. The figure has short sleeves like Dolph Lundgren's. The head reminds me of Thomas Jane's look. I asked a friend to paint the skull symbol so that it would resemble the one of Ray Stevenson's Punisher.](userimages/customs/41500/41373-1.jpg) Punisher (Movie Inspired) | ![[Doc Samson] Next up is one of the best known from the Hulk comics, Doc Samson.
He's been both a friend and a foe to the Hulk, depending on the situation.

Top of Boots - SOTA SF T.Hawk

Mission: Annihilate the Hulk
Here is one of the lesser known of the Hulk's enemies. He appeared in Hulk #17 and in the 2003 video game. I added pics of the inside pages from the comic book where he made his first appearance.
U.S. Army Private Tibbets was a soldier exposed to gamma radiation by the military to turn him into a weapon against the Hulk. Although he matched the Hulk's strength, his transformations made him appear freakish and disfigured. He also suffered psychological problems which made him unstable.

Those who have the figure might agree that it's ugly. So, I picked up the new 10inch Hulk from the new Avengers movie line and exchanged the head. I painted just a little bit on the head. I used to not like the figure, but I think it looks much better now. Took pictures with MS Juggernaut and Abomination.](userimages/customs/37500/37055-1.jpg) Hulk (Alternate Head) |
![[Loki (Alternate Head)] My Marvel Select Loki snapped at the shoulder joint right out of the package (glue problem!) It's taller and shows off more muscle than the ML one. Unfortunately there's not a lot of articulation or poseability. Also, he's got a big axe, which the ML Ares didn't come with. I widened the helmet to fit the head.
The figure is huge, almost 8 inches tall. I posed him next to Marvel Legends Thor and some other "God of War" character figures just to show how big this guy is.
It's the last custom I made from the other custom board site, no more to transfer. I hope I can make more soon. Thanks to everyone who checked out my work!](userimages/customs/37000/36878-1.jpg) Ares |
![[Smart Hulk] I'm a huge fan of the Hulk when he was "merged" having the strength, intellect, and attitude. This one's based on art of Gary Frank from his run on the Hulk comic in the 1990's. Toy Biz had a figure of Smart Hulk already but I wanted to make my own bigger and taller one.
Recipe:
I just took a DC Mattel Brimstone and cut off the head. Then used the old Smart Hulk figure's head and neck combined with green putty, and painted around Brimstone's tanktop and boots. The tanktop is taken from 10inch Hellboy. The belt came from DC retro Black Manta.

-from the waist down it's Mattel DCU Arkillo, with jeans from 10 inch Toybiz Marvel GhostRider Danny Ketch, then painted black shoes on, I know croc is hardly ever in shoes, but thought I'd try it.
I finished this custom a year ago and I took a picture of Batman kicking Croc.
At that time, Batman #1 comic by artist David Finch had not yet printed. Then, when the book arrived at my local comic store, I got myself a copy. While reading it, I was completely surprised to see that not only did Killer Croc have shoes on like my custom, but one page of art was very similar to my photo. What a coincidence! It's a DC Direct Hush Superman head on top of a ML Ultimate Nick Fury body. Weapons are from the Matrix by N2Toys which had some of the best guns I've seen for 6 inch figures.
My buddy Andy, who paints lots of D&D miniatures, helped me paint the skull and face. I can only take credit for the overall recipe concept, headswapping and some black paint touches. I can't paint the skull as detailed myself, not yet, still need to keep improving my painting skills.

The Red Skull head is from the Marvel Legends face off figure.

No painting was done, just molded the neck and head onto the body.
Kroenen figure came with the gun and interchangeable hands with blades.
I took photos with Marvel Select Captain America and Marvel Select Dr. Doom. I made this a year before the Marvel Select movie version Red Skull figure came out. ![[Hulk] I made this based on the art of Dale Keown who drew Hulk with massive muscles and also the art of Mike Deodato whose Hulk had a darker shading and big toothy grin.
The base figure is Pitt. Head is from a Hulk Pez candy dispenser. I used epoxy putty but still maintained full head articulation. The fists and forearms are from a 2003 rotocast Hulk. I kept the biceps and elbows of the Pitt figure and original pants color. I did very minimal painting, a dark shade of green only on the skin parts.
I know I still have to get around to trimming more of the toe nails.
This is my first custom on figurerealm. I started my customs last year on another customs forum but now that I just joined the Realm, I'll transfer them here too. All comments and feedback are welcome.
