![[Batman] Returning from a hiatus, I gave my Batman figure a few new modifications.
The cape is from the series 4 Arkham City Batman and I repainted the head to match.
Best of all, I've been practicing adding articulation to DC Direct figures, so he get new swivel-hinge arms (much preferred over separate swivels and hinges).

![[Wonder Woman Modern] I love the design of the New 52 Wonder Woman, so I did a simple repaint in that style and added her collar with a piece of rubber.
There are still a lot of things in the works, so keep 'em peeled.

Painted the eyes in "detective mode" and gave him a satin cape to make him more poseable than with the rubber cape. ![[Bane - the Dark Knight Rises] Kept the Mattel boots, belt, and head. Neca Ezio hands, Sam Fisher legs and Chris Redfield torso. Sanded down the shoulders, some straps here and there. Tried to get it as accurate as possible, because I wouldn't change a thing about his look.
If you'll indulge me, how is casting someone like Nathan Jones any different from casting Jeep Swenson? For one, having Swenson didn't make that movie noticeably worse, so just watch him. However, Tom Hardy made Rises way better, having enough physical intimidation to score FOUR unstoppable bruiser roles in his career. It helps when an actor can ACT in a dramatic action movie.
I made a detonator with some fodder and painted him up. He looks sweet on the shelf and he's definitely my new favorite. The Avengers movie incited this guy, and I wanted an outfit that looked alien, but more elegant and less form-fitting, so the base figure could finally fit with the collection.
Head: Gears of War Locust with a new ball joint and a piece of pleather and golden collar to hide it and the former Spawn's helmet chopped off and hollowed, cause it looked so similar to the Thanos design.
Body: Samurai Spawn with certain protrusions removed and melted translucent plastic glued on to create the 6 Infinity Gems.
A new gold and blue paint job and it's done! Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of my collection.](userimages/customs/41000/40601-1.jpg) Thanos Marvel Selectby Redshift4This is definitely my new favorite custom. ![[Wolverine] The perfect Wolverine base; I love it! This has been sitting around for months until I found the belt strap to top it off. Gave him the Grayson Hunt head and belt buckle and painted the whole upper body 'cept for his hair. Carved bobby pins for the metal claws and gave him the Duke's cigar. I used Neca Ezio's feet, painted his hair, shirt, pants and shoes, and gave the pants a wash. I needed a "master of magnetism" effect, so guns, twisties and hot glue solved that problem. It's certainly not as good as it could have been.](userimages/customs/38500/38426-1.jpg) Magneto Marvel Selectby Redshift4I pondered what to do with my Sam Fisher for a long time and then I remembered that in the movies, Magneto has his best scenes in casual wear. ![[Bane] This figure was the first custom that I started, and it took a while to do, but here's my comic/movie Bane mix. I took the Neca Army of Two Rios upper body, painted over the skin, red parts, and the mask. I sanded down the shoulder armor and painted skin, cause Bane bares both, no matter what the version. The legs are Neca Chris Redfield's painted black. Hacked my turban spawn's lower torso off to attach the two. The venom tank is Grayson Hunt's and the grenade bandolier is a Halo Spartan's.
Now, with Batman's cloth cape, no trickery is necessary for Bane to lift Batman.](userimages/customs/38000/37772-1.jpg) Bane DC Directby Redshift4This figure was the first custom that I started, and it took a while to do, but here's my comic/movie Bane mix.
