![[Marvel NOW Deadpool MU] Somebody ordered extra crispy?!!
***Updated Pics***
I just had to make one so please bear with me.
Here's how it went;
1. Sculpted the costume details
- Seams
- Quick release buttons, had to color them wiht dark metallic gray so they're not that loud.
- Bracers and took some ninja hands for extra articulation
- Shin Guards
- Details on his shoes
- sculpted Deadpool belt buckle, hammered steel feel to it.
2. Sculpted the face, that face.
I had to create DP's head with a smirk on it. I'm sure you know why he is smirking.
3. Custom MP7A1 with Ammo Drums for extra bullets to shoot more things. Also threw in a ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight).
- the ammo barrel is removable
- the the gun scope is removable
4. Removable Holsters for all the guns, including the one on his left.
Removable Knife sheath.
Removable Belt.
Removable webgear.
5. And of course, THE CHICKEN :)
I went with a deeper red for DP's Marvel NOW duds. Painted the br](userimages/customs/47500/47412-1.jpg) Marvel NOW Deadpool MU | ![[Headpool, Marvel Universe] UPDATED PICTURES
Hello ladies and gents, I had this in the burner for quite sometime. I was inspired by the Deadpool Corps. statues I saw from the web and I just had to try and have a go at this. The challenge was the size at which I was trying to replicate it at.
One of the fun parts of this project was figuring out how to pull off the propeller (Yeah, he needs to get around). I took a small plane with working propellers and drilled a hole on Headpool's, well, head. So now we have a working propeller.
After ridicuolously small amounts of epoxy clay and miniscule amounts of paint later. We have Headpool. Oh and one more thing, painting the tongue was fun. and the teeth, of course was a learning experience. :)
The socket of the Headpool's skull can fit into the usual 1:18 scale bodies so I might try to create a body for this dude down the road, once I have the time.
God bless and let me know what you think.](userimages/customs/47500/47397-1.jpg) Headpool, Marvel Universe |
![[Bishop (X-Force,Messiah War)] A lot of us are used to the classic Bishop blue & yellow duds. However, when I read the X-Force Messiah War Story Arc, Lucas Bishop was sporting a more simpler costume, black and white, and a mechanical arm.
The arm apparently served as a power source for his kinetic blasts (guess he got tired of getting shot at first before he could blast back :P). The arm also had a device that could help jam telepaths from accessing Bishop's thoughts, and get this... small mechanical tentacles (sheesh). Which he tried to use on Stryfe, which of course failed miserably.
I took Colossus' right arm and sculpted away. Took a bit of creative liberty here to make it look "techno-organic".
I used Warpath's torso and added a neck joint so he could look up and down.
Cable's belt gave me the pouches and I scuplted a new buckle for the X logo.
I did a combo of matte and gloss paints, suffered much on the white trying to get it even, painted the M symbol on Ripcord's face, and viola, w](userimages/customs/47500/47392-1.jpg) Bishop (X-Force,Messiah War) | ![[X-Force's Warpath Marvel Universe] ***UPDATED IMAGES***
I scoured online stores for the X-Force variant of Warpath when he came out in the past and he was being sold for a very hefty price. Against my better judgement, i gave in and bought one. (sucker)
The Warpath from Hasbro was a bit small to my liking and I always liked the way he was portrayed as the "tank" in X-Force.
So I grabbed my only MU Colossus at the time and started to work on him. I took the original MU Warpath head repainted it because the mask and facial gesture was too soft for me. My initial attempt at the mask gave me a bit of a "Wonder Warpath" kinda feel, and we don't want that. Repaint!
Took apart the Colossus body filled up and sanded off, repeatedly, to get the desired shape. I took Colossus' bracers and attempted my FIRST, yes FIRST, sculpt ever. When I saw that the bracers came out pretty decent, I added pads to the hands. :) Whew.
AS for the paints, I used Flat and Gloss black on certain parts. I eased off o](userimages/customs/45500/45354-1.jpg) X-Force's Warpath Marvel Universe |
![[Agent Venom (Flash Thompson) Marvel Universe] ***UPDATED PICS***
The lighting was a bit off for the images submitted the first time..
I am EXHAUSTED!!! But thank goodness I am done. This little guy took three weeks of my life. I could not do anything else but finish him as this Venom was more of an itch. :)
It started when I thought I had the right parts to pull off an Flash Thompson Venom. I even bought a GI Joe figure for the vest, which I decided not to use anyway, Sheesh.
I took a look at a lot of different Agent Venom images and saw certain aspects that I like from each rendition. I took the GI Joe vest and did a trial fit, and said, I'll just do a little sculpt and see if it fills in the gaps here and there. And what I ended up with was a FULL on sculpt marathon.
I was in for a battle as this was my second attempt at sculpting, well, pretty much anything. My first sculpting attempt was Warpath's Gloves and Bracers.
I kid you not, I sculpted the

I updated the photos to show more details :)
Just like my latest Wade Wilson custom, I was compelled to give Frank Castle some real "clothes" and come up with my version of his Warzone get-up.
Back in Junior High, I ended up taking Home Economics where the teacher taught some basic Sewing classes. Don't ask.
I used a paper pattern to come up with prelim patterns for Frank's vest. I used a recyclable shopping bag since city hall was encouraging the use of eco-friendly shopping bags. :) No plastic bags allowed. :|
Apart from dry-brushing pants a bit with gray, I also gave Frank a 5pm shadow his ML cousin was sporting. Brushed in some dark lines just to enhance the facial details.
I I used some straps from the fodder bin to add some details to his trousers. Took the knife and handguns with holsters from the new MU punisher. Took a couple of Uzis and made some straps at the back of his vest. One of the vests features is a protective collar as seen in the](userimages/customs/44000/43553-1.jpg) Punisher: Warzone MU |
![[Deadpool "Merc with the SEAMS" MU] Deadpool has been getting a lot of love lately and I hope I don't get too much flak for making another one. :) This time, I took some hints from the costume wade is wearing in High Moon's upcoming Deadpool Game.
This has got to be one of the most challenging customs I've embarked on. I took the new Bullseye torso, cracked it open and modified the shoulder mounts to accomodate some 1:18 arms with, that's right...DOUBLE-JOINTED elbows to allow him a greater range of kick-a$$ery.
But I think the highlight of this version of Wade's threads are really the threads, it's the SEAMS baby.
I've also used magnets to give him an almost limitless configuration of Weapon Loadouts. If it's got magnets, Wade can carry it.
The paint job allowed me to practice shading using red and browns to bring out the creases and other details of the figure.
I hope you guys like him. Comments are very much welcome. ;)
God bless and have a good week ahead.](userimages/customs/44000/43552-1.jpg) Deadpool "Merc with the SEAMS" MU | ![[Deadpool] This is the first time I tried doing a wash to enhance the musculature and creases, and it was by accident. (doh..) turned out pretty well, I think.
I had to sculpt in the belt on his neck just to him some more detail.
I painted in the Deadpool insignias on the hands, arggh... those tiny little buggers.
Took the new comic pack Deadpool head and web gear, Bullseye body, cut up a Daredevil club sheath to accommodate an HK MP5. Even painted and Sai since it came in white, ugh..
I applied a very light wash on the musculature and other creases and a bit of dry brushing.
Painted and sealed so he can kick some major BEEE-hind without the rub, and still chill like a champ.
Enjoy. Hope you guys like him.

![[X-Force's Deadpool] As much as I would like to say that this was an easy custom, it was one of the challenging ones I've done so far. I am a fan of articulation and I want my action figures to be highly posable and playable.
To achieve this, I had to take the base figure apart as much as I can. I've added in a neck joint so he can look up and down. More articulation in the wrists so he can do some more poses and also reach for his swords at the back.
Added some web gear from some Joes, and made the sword sheaths. modified gun holster from Bullesye.
A modified Steve Rogers belt with DP's insignia
I did a very light wash on the musculature, a bit of dry brushing.
Paint and seal, and put back the parts together, which was more difficult than taking the figure apart. Paint him a bit and sealed him some more.
Now Wade can kick more ass without the paint rub.

Recipe:
Snake Eyes Torso and upper arms (not sure which release but the figure was really ugly, probably one of those really early releases)
Iron Fist Head (with minimal sculpting)
Storm Shadow Lower Arms & Legs
Finally, a Cellphone Accessory Strap and Micropore Tape
Hope you guys like it.

![[X-Force Archangel] Here goes my first submission.
I wanted an X-Force Archangel but the exclusive was really expensive and not to mention extremely rare, hence I made my own.
Added some more articulation, hinged neck joint so he can hit pretty good flight poses.
And I tried to keep his costume a bit simpler, I tried. :)
The sanding and paint curing in between coats took most of the time (that allowed me to go to work and do some chores).
Hope you guys enjoy it.
