![[Tmnt Comic/Toon Shredder (Gritty)] This is just a regular blue Shredder I had lying around and opted to give more articulation. I gave him ball jointed elbows from a Jakks Pacific DBZ figure, hinge joints in his knees and ankles, and a swivel joint in each thigh. I then cut off his samurai "skirt" and replaced the groin piece with a cloth-looking piece off a hasbro Elektra figure. Sculpting was then done over the entire thing to hide all the chopped up parts and Frankenstein work. I also chopped down the original mask of the figure and replaced it with a sculpted version of my own. This is my take on what Shredder might look like if he was in a gritty comic based toon version of the TMNT.](userimages/customs/49000/48782-1.jpg) Tmnt Comic/Toon Shredder (Gritty) | ![[Batman the Dark Knight Rises in the Dark Knight Re] This figure is pretty basic. ![[Shredder and Foot Soldiers Concept Figures (Bash K] So basically this set is just made up of a bunch of bash kits. The foot soldiers were made using foot-tech ninja that I cut up and straightened out their stances. Then sculpted over all the cut sections and filled them in/smoothed them over before painting them in colors inspired by the original toon. The Shredder was more involved, I used the torso from a Super Shredder, and cut his arms at the biceps. I did the same thing with the 4 arm Shredder clone figure. Glued the Super Shredder torso to the clones legs then used a red hot blade to melt the plastics together (which I then did for the neck and arms as well), cut out the neck portion on the clone torso and glued that to the Super Shredder torso after drilling a hole for the head peg to move around in. Found some slice n dice shredder leg armor and glued that to the figure's legs, then started sculpting. Sculpted the face mask, neck muscles, the lower torso to cover up the chop work, smoothed over the legs (which I cut a V into the](userimages/customs/44000/43803-1.jpg) Shredder and Foot Soldiers Concept Figures (Bash K | ![[TMNT 2012 in Vintage Colors Set (W/Chain Weapons)] These figures are just vintage style repaints of the 2012 figures that have recently come out and are currently on the shelves. Just took a Ronin figure from the Elektra 2 pack, sculpted a demon face on the sanded down Ronin head and an Ogun face on the sanded down Barton head. Then just repainted the sucker. I decided to add in some sculpting elements removing the bat gauntlets and replacing them with arm guards instead. The hair was sculpted in a more realistic fashion after Nightwing's DCUC figure, the mask is a mixer of the DCUC Nightwing's design with Robin's mask design from Batman Forever, so it's not just painted on. Straps have been glued over his shoulders and back to house the baton/prods strapped to him which came from ninja weapons I cut and sanded down to look more like batons. ![[Dark X-Men Daken] This figure was taken from a DCUC Red Tornado base. The unmasked head was created using a Lex Luthor noggin' which had a few slight tweaks to his cheekbones and obvious hair sculpted on top of his head. The mask head was basically a completely new sculpt over the original face which was sanded down to nothing, so yes, even the mouth/jaw area on the masked head is sculpted. The gloves were probably the hardest part of the figure as they required sculpting that needed to sync up with the articulation. Beyond that, the shoulder pads, belt, and calve muscles were sculpted on as well.
The claws were made from a few sewing needles that I heated up and bent a little before covering them up with some Aves Apoxie sculpt which I then painted black to better represent the bone claws that Daken actually showcases in the majority of his appearances. The 3rd claw was made in the same fashion but I made them removable as I drilled small holes in the figures wrists so that I could insert the middle c](userimages/customs/43500/43282-1.jpg) Dark X-Men Daken Marvel Legendsby JinzinThis figure was taken from a DCUC Red Tornado base. The masked head was cut and sanded down to the bare bones :P and then I sculpted over it to produce the skull and the flames. the figure was then beefed up around the chest, lats, boots and inner thighs to reduce the skinny look of the base figure. The spikes on his shoulders and gauntlets are made from cut down toothpick ends which were super glued for more stable support. The real chain and bike were taken from a series 3 Ghost Rider, and the static "action" chain was taken from a classic toy biz 5 inch GR.
