Had some trouble with reproducing the effects of a diamond skin as in the comics , but am satisfied with the result. I've tried also to make the crest on its chest a bit more attractive , but am not sure if it worked.
Recipe is apoxie , acrylic paint (some metallic blue) and some brilliant varnish.
Last scene is a favorite, Sphinx crushing his hand...
Thanks for any comments , I appreciate any criticisms for improving...

![[Sphinx] Sphinx is an all-time favourite of mine , having read Nova's first series back in the 80's.Sculpted its jaw , nose ,hood cap , belt , jewel and bracelets , added some cut from its plastic package for the two hood fins and acrylic paint all over. The kilt is just a piece of fabric painted and glued to the crotch(ouch) and back...still learning the art, any thoughts appreciated !](userimages/customs/49000/48638-1.jpg) Sphinx Marvel Universeby RokSphinx is an all-time favourite of mine , having read Nova's first series back in the 80's.Sculpted its jaw , nose ,hood cap , belt , jewel and bracel...7 comments | ![[Mister Hyde] When I saw the Skaar figure , immediately found it to be a nice Hyde to add to the collection...Cut its hair partially (and used remains for his sideburns) sculpted belt , lapel , shoe buckles , painted with acrylic emerald green paint. Lower part of the coat is a piece of green cloth painted and glued to the belt.It lacks the grin of the other wonderful versions of Hyde I've seen here , but I guess it worked well.Any comments appreciated! Recently , by using some cheap Chinese figures I found at a discount store I decided to have a go at it. They lack torso movement but work well fitting into MU scale. Observing the great artists here (Dravenheart ,Fastfreddy, Goliath, to name a few) and reading the tutorials , was able to make these 3 to start. I've loved these characters (Batroc's brigade) since I was kid , reading Captain America.
Thanks for any constructive comments, and for keeping this site as a source of inspiration - I'm not a pro and not even close to perfectionist, but have found great peace of mind while doing this work.
Basically it's epoxy for Batroc's mask and goatee , and acrylic paint...mustache was painted as well, it seems to work best than sculpting at this scale...
Cheers!
